The Yankees dropped the first game of the Subway Series to the Mets, 6-3. Jordan Montgomery was uncharacteristically iffy in an abbreviated performance in which he gave up five runs, but there were some positives last night, like the bullpen only giving up one run in the final 6 1/2 innings of the game. Aaron Judge hit his 38th home run, which is a good thing, and Aaron Boone made some aggressive moves but ultimately didn't work out.
