This podcast is about a retired fire-fighter from Miami living the quiet life in Georgia, Tom’s passion for model and prototype trains has been there most of his life, from the first Lionel set to his current layout, the Georgia Northeastern, model railroading has been a constant. Working part time on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad helped him learn about prototype operations and focus on running a short line railroad. It’s an all star cast with Kaylee Zhang answering the Kelly Questions and Shawn Becher providing all sorts of interesting thoughts to ponder. After a brief investigation it would appear Shawn’s segment scheduled for an earlier virtual hobby shop show somehow was lost. If we hadn’t been power washing the office we’d never have discovered Shawn’s on air segment jammed under a filing cabinet covered with green goo created when the model railroad hobby simply exploded.
