In this episode I'm speaking to two different audiences. One is the Valuetainer, the entrepreneur that follows Valuetainment for content around entrepreneurship. The other one is an individual. He's the founder and CEO of Twitter and Square. He’s a billionaire, recognized by MIT, by educators and by entrepreneurs around the world, Jack Dorsey. My intention for this episode is to show the value of Twitter, and what needs to happen so Twitter can avoid being the next Myspace.

I think it’s fair to say that we’re living in the “I want to be a celebrity” era. And even though there’s nothing wrong with it, there are people who inflate their numbers on social media to give a false impression of their success. In this episode, I get into social media verification and how to tell if someone’s social media followers are fake.

It's that time of the year where CPAs and accountants sit with their clients and say, "Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Entrepreneur, you should consider giving some money back to charity because it benefits you when it comes down to taxes." As much as you want to give to charity because it can benefit you tax wise, today I want to share with you other reasons why you should give back to the community as an entrepreneur.

Recently I was at Harvard Business School with 144 other entrepreneurs who run very successful businesses. We all had something in common. Everybody had a horror story. So, I'm going to share with you a few of my scariest moments in business. Hopefully this will shed some light and you’ll realize you’re not alone.

Many times when you look at a very successful business from the outside, it seems like everything is perfect as if they have zero problems. Customer service vs. customer experience; Do you know the difference? One of the best exercises for you to do is make a list of companies or businesses that you go back to over and over and over again, and ask yourself why. On the left, list five companies you return to again and again, and on the right write the reason for doing so. For instance, on the left write, "I go to this restaurant at least once a week" and on the right write, "I go there because _____________." The thing that goes into the blank is generally one of these six reasons. They will give you a lot of clues for your own business.

I want you to think about two words. These are two words that are searched on Google regularly. One word is "money." The other word is "happy." Which of these two words do you think is searched more on Google, money, or happy? Here are the numbers. Money comes out with 2.5 billion results. Happy comes out with 2.86 billion results. Why? More people are thinking about how to be happy than about money. I will guarantee you I will say a word to you in this episode about happiness that you probably don't hear; maybe you've never heard it linked to happiness. We'll cover that here with you.
