AMC Theaters is hosting a 27 hour Star Wars marathon that will showcase all 9 films from the saga on Wednesday, December 18. Also, Naomie Harris is being eyed to join Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson in Venom 2 as Shriek, and expect Deadpool to remain R-rated for the third film, which will hopefully see him crossover into the MCU. Sony and Marvel Studios (Disney) have come to an agreement that sees the studios splitting production and revenue 75/25 (favoring Sony) and will allow Kevin Feige to co-produce a third Spider-Man: Homecoming film, while also allowing Tom Holland to appear in at least one more Marvel Studios crossover. Spider-Man 3 is due in theaters on July 16, 2021. Brandon Routh returns as Superman! First photos from Crisis on Infinite Earths show the actor in the famous Alex Ross-designed Kingdom Come suit, which will debut in the CW's big crossover event that also features Tyler Hoechlin and Tom Welling as Clark Kent and the alter-ego, Superman. Kevin Feige is co-producing a Star Wars movie! He'll team up with Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy to produce a brand-new entry in the Star Wars universe. No details on the film's specifics or when it will come out. Jeffrey Wright and Jonah Hill are joining Matt Reeves' #TheBatman! Wright, veteran of the 007 franchise and star of HBO's Westworld, will star as James Gordon while Hill's role is unknown. It's speculated that he could play The Penguin or Riddler in this DC standalone film. The Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series has found its director. Deborah Chow, director of two episodes of the upcoming The Mandalorian, will direct the entire original series, which will start production in a couple of months. Finally, will Marvel Television survive with Marvel Studios having such a big role is pushing the future of the brand on digital streaming services like #DisneyPlus? Does that mean we can expect to see characters like Ghost Rider appear in the MCU?

Birds of Prey debuted the first teaser poster featuring Harley Quinn and a swarm of characters including Black Mask, Huntress, Victor Zsaz and more. The poster has been met with some controversy from a very small pocket of fandom. Jamie Lee Curtis, recent winner of the Saturn Award for Best Actress, talked about what we can expect from Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends, which will close out the fourty year story that started with the Michael Myers murders in 1978. The first trailer for Netflix's Raising Dion has dropped. The 9-episode series stars and is executive produced by Michael B. Jordan and tells the story of his son Dion as he gains new special abilities. Jurassic World premiered a new short film, Battle At Big Rock, which takes place one year after the events of Fallen Kingdom and shows us how dinosaurs and society have integrated. Abrams signs a huge $250 million, 5-year production deal with WarnerMedia to develop and produce content across digital, theatrical and gaming. Bad Robot previously turned down a $500 million deal from Apple which would have wanted exclusivity over Abrams. Watchmen debuts a brand new trailer, starring Regina King and Don Johnson, and debuts on HBO on October 20.

Due to its failing box-office revenue, Disney has canceled many of 20th Century Fox's development slate, including projects like Lumberjanes, and will re-focus the studio's priorities.
