Tony Polecastro Guitar Workshop Key takeaways from our chat: 1 - Good person.... Bad Landlord? Being a nice person is usually good. Being a good person is usually a good thing. Not when it comes to landlording. You have to buckle down and stick to your guns. That means denying people based on credit and background. If you don't, bad things will happen. In a related note, get a reference for every person that will deal with your property. Property managers, contractors, realtors..... GET A REFERENCE. Things will probably go terribly wrong if you don't. 2 - We are CRUSHING it! In our New Year's Eve episode, we stated we were at 89,000 downloads and wanted to get to 300,000. We hit 400,000 downloads at the end of June. Thank you to all our listeners for making this happen. We love you all!! A post shared by Fire Drill Podcast (@fire_podcast) on Jun 27, 2018 at 8:28am PDT We couldn't do it without you, so a massive THANK YOU to all of you for making this happen!! 3 - Gwen's Resolutions: Total Grade B+ Happy, Healthy, Kind, Motivated She is pretty happy but gets more stressed out than she should with trying to be an entrepreneur. She is much healthier than she was in January. She is more or less the same with regards to kindness. She is DEFINITELY more motivated with the loss of her W2 income. 4 - J's Resolutions: Total Grade Solid B -6 Figure Saver: totally counted as she did save the money in the first place. (She took the money and paid off some of her parent's Parent Plus loans. She's a really great daughter). -Doubling passive income: Not there yet, but well on her way with her Etsy shop growing like a weed! -Work out 200 times this year: On track! -Cook dinner twice a week: MASSIVE FAIL Questions?
