In this episode Eric interviews David Kreiner from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO. During the August 2019 convention of the American Psychological Association, PsychSessions co-host Eric Landrum will receive the Charles L. Brewer Distinguished Teaching of Psychology of Psychology Award from the American Psychological Foundation. The citation presented here was read by PsychSessions co-host Garth Neufeld and was written by Eric's dear friend and collaborator, Regan A. R. Gurung. It is truly an honor to be a member of this community of teachers of psychology.

In this episode Eric interviewed Ho Huynh from Texas A&M San Antonio in San Antonio, TX. Ho starts the "do-over" episode about teaching, but the conversation quickly turns to the work-life balance of an early career psychologist (ECP). Following that, he talks about his origin story in Vietnam and coming to the U.S., following by a discussion about the tenure-track and how criteria ambiguity affects the process. Ho describes his humility work, student "mesearch," and his current and future mentoring work.
