Robert Lee Yates Jr. was a quiet family man, a decorated war hero and a good neighbor – or so it seemed. On June 11, 1964 42-year-old Willi Walter Seifert armed with an insecticide sprayer converted into a flamethrower, a lance and a homebuilt mace,  entered the a school and opened fire on the girls playing in the courtyard. David Koresh was the leader of a religious sect known as the Branch Davidians. Koresh and his followers built an "Army of God" by stockpiling weapons in preparation for the apocalypse. On February 28, 1993, the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms raided the compound in Waco, Texas resulting in a 51-day stand-off.
