Ten year old Mary Bell strangled and mutilated two toddlers in 1968.  In 1979, 16-year-old Brenda Ann Spencer, fired 30 rounds of ammo at children in a school playground from her father's apartment in San Diego.  She  killed two adults and wounded 8 children and a Police Officer.  When asked to explain her actions, Spencer simply stated "I don't like Mondays".   See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Alfred Packer was an American prospector who confessed to cannibalism during the winter of 1873–1874. He and 5 other men attempted to travel through the high mountains of Colorado during the peak of a harsh winter. They ran out of food when the snow became too deep for travel. In 1917, the notorious exotic dancer Mata Hari was arrested on the charge of espionage; less than one year later, she was tried and executed, charged with the deaths of at least 50,000 gallant French soldiers. The mistress of many senior Allied officers and government officials, even the French minister of war, she had a sharp intellect and a golden tongue fluent in several languages; she also traveled widely throughout war-torn Europe, with seeming disregard for the political and strategic alliances and borders. On May 19, 1920 The Stone Mountain Coal Mine Corporation sent hired guns into Matewan, West Virgina to squash attempts by Coal Miners to unionize.
