Not Shaken By The World But Stirred By The Spirit
In the morning service Stu encourages us to be a community that is so hungry for the holy spirit that we are desperate to want him, to desire him, to know him. Holy Spirit is real, he recognises communities that honour him, and allow him to be made welcome. Stu discusses the difference between Holy Spirit being everywhere, and Holy Spirit being welcomed. He asks us the question, do you want him? Do you have a desire in your spirit to say yes, I want him?
In the evening service Paul Manwaring spoke about what it looks like to live in the past, present and future without taking on fear, shame and regret. Fear, shame and regret can stop us from entering into the fullness of our destiny and identity in Christ, but recognising the power of our testimonies, not hiding from shame, and believing the prophetic words over our lives will allow us to bring Gods legacy and victory into our present.
In the Morning service Tom Allsop spoke on the importance of seeking and saving the lost! When God invades your life it will set things into motion, we encounter unto evangelism. Are you allowing yourself to be spirit led or are you more interested in your reputation with man, than God?
In the evening service Stu challenged us to lay everything down for the Lord. We want to be a people who are seen as safe places for the Lord to abide in.
In the morning service Alistair spoke on stepping into calling. Looking at the story of Peter we see that before he was released to be a Fisher of Men he had to be equipped, exposed and experienced in the kingdom. Each one of us has a journey ahead of us to reach our calling because it won't just fall into our laps.
