Episode 19 we have a scheduled guest! He works within and around the cannabis industry. He has several fantastic products, some of which are delicious… Some of which involve growing. At the last minute our guest had to cancel, under legal recommendation and/or pressure. Less than 24 hours after Alan told the premier of Ontario face-to-face, that she is going down the wrong track – only to get a ridiculous non-answer… this episode highlights more evidence that the people creating lie-filled laws, cause the majority of people to avoid publicly proffering one of the most powerful health breakthroughs in the history of our species.  All of this, a taxpayer funded mission to avoid maximum health potential and a democratically burgeoning economy. This surprise episode of covering several topics – to make up for our missing guest - fingers some of the illegal and suspect activity of our supposed leaders, leading us away, from a democratically preferred health alternative. They subtract facts, add cow pat, and stir – people to think their fiction is the real deal.  This must end, or Green Crush might. 

Episode 18 Commanding. So far Canada has foot in its mouth and the other in a beartrap of stupidity, regarding its pending legislation proposal designed to further restrict proper cannabis aspect.  But it seems other countries around the world might doing it properly. Is Ireland one of them? We’ll see. Irishman Stephen Kelly - representing activist Internet presence, “It Makes Sense“, tells us of Ireland's very difficult relationship with legalizing cannabis – the last presentation of such a bill was roundly mocked, the politician who brought it forth was much criticized for doing so.  The newest bill is now working its way through Irish Parliament and so far the signs are good. I take another stab at last week's opioid news. Detailing the arrest of a massive purveyor of that drug, CEO of INSYS, John Kapoor is seemingly off to jail for trafficking. Might be good news for other demons in the same game. Our guest, Dawn Mcilmoyle is a former member of Canada's Navy and MST survivor. What is MST? Military Sexual Trauma… an American term that Canadian Military sufferers also use. And if they're naming it as a phenomenon, you know it's something that shouldn't be happening. Dawn tells us as much as she can share of her deep trauma in the military, and her long way out of it – using her green friend, cannabis.

Episode 15 centers on the opioid crisis that is ruining countless lives. Everyone has an opinion – everyone has the desperate question, "what is going on?" "what's happening to these people?" "what can we do about it – how did this happen?" We reveal that about all of those concerns, the answer lies before us already. It only takes political awareness and Will to put the responsible criminals in jail, and rehabilitate the people taken prey by one of history's greatest skimSchemeScams. The only crisis regarding opioids is a lack of honesty and political will to address the problem in just one term. With some of the major distributors of these toxic profit pills exposed, we suggest you contact them at your leisure, and ask exactly what they are going to do about it. The government is lying – the revolving door of changing the laws from within the government to then leave and profit from those laws in the private sector, must come to an end. These dark operators are the same people telling us that cannabis is not effective for cancer.  

Episode 14 doubles as an an extended version of our Green Crush cannabis-savvy segment "You Can't Spell Legal without Illegal", with an interview with a freelance writer for cannabis-based publications including Leafly, and Lift Cannabis News. Harrison Jordan, will become a fully fledged lawyer in 2018, at Toronto based law firm, Lewin Sagara LLP. Their focus is on matters related to our lovely green friend - (not Alan) the cannabis plant. Harrison enjoys reading and writing about the regulatory and public policy aspects of cannabis in Canada, so if you were looking for that one guy, we found him.

With each number of the show revealing a new aspect of itself in the battle against the disease and those who continue to allow it, we decided to stack this Number 13 show. Of our two guests, Paul Flynn is an MP that any listener to this show will recognize from almost every episode – he has so wisely counselled us to, "break the law" - when it's clear the law does not make sense. We are fortunate to have a wide scope discussion with MP Flynn regarding cannabis and other political issues at hand that do affect its access. For the second half of the show we speak with a man who has turned tragedy in his life into a victory for any who follow his work. Sterling Crockett is the CEO of AgriMed, a Pennsylvania based cannabis research and medicinal application company.

He explains how even people and companies "on our side" are rarely on our side when they have to follow government dictation. From where does the government dictate? From policymakers, that's who. Why do policymakers continue to make policies against the majority of the people? Why do people not realize that their will is being ignored, their best interest swept under the rug? Again of course we tack further away from the official regulations.  They're not even regulations, they are a Proposal to have regulations.  The Proposal stinks, the answer is no.  Opportunistic government players are rigging the game from both ends.  Counter-democratic, counter-economic expansion, these ninny nannies are now trying to tell us where we can partake of the plant.  Our guest today, Anthony Foster, is a purveyor of one of those socially based, Cannabis lounges.  These safe havens for self medication are now under government threat - on notice - and Anthony tells us from his point of view what's wrong with all of that.

This episode drives home the point that the various categories that we cover are inter-related and hard to separate. "Cops or Truth" can also be "Unblinded Me With Science" and History can also be the Future. Again we strive to re-perceive Cannabis in it's more positive light, the truth filled, fact based, helpful Cannabis facts. The government does just fine on its own profiting from and demonizing it. Our special guest today, all the way from Vancouver is “Watermelon” aka Mary Jean Dunsdon. The savvy multi-decade Cannabis expert is running for Vancouver City Council and we hope she is as electable as she is delectable. Enjoy our talk with her, filled with fun facts and helpful hints.  

Just when you think you've think you've got your show figured out, and all the pieces are in place, along comes some of the most intellectually deficient, mean spirited, oppression filled by-laws in Alan's home province of Ontario, Canada.  We react to the new legal framework proposal put forward by the Ontario liberal government.  We spend time with a normal person, with a normal life, who tried all the normal remedies and gave it all up for the Green - Kelly from "Coming Out Green" as our guest.

Whenever the dam breaks the pushback from what was being held back is all powerful. Resistance meets faltering force.  The lies and the laws and the ignored science and the governmental penchant for incarceration for profit, bringing the ruination of family lives around the world, is that faltering dam. Today's Crush reconstitutes the scientific awareness surpressed on many levels.  It's ok though, it's easy to understand.  It has been around as a medicine and a way of life for thousands of years longer than it has been "illegal" according to "authorities." Alan adds to his saga from diagnosis to repair - instead of exit.  Once again we get a shout out from a British parliamentarian who strongly recommends that we challenge that authority and break that law.
