On the college football edition of the GSMC Football Podcast host Tom Dougherty discusses the possible CFP senarios, talks the biggest games of week one, and goes over the head coaches at new schools. On the college football edition of the GSMC Football Podcast host Tom Dougherty discusses the storylines leading up the first weekend of the season, he talks QB decisions, and CFP predictions. Starting quaterbacks have been named at USC (J.T. Daniels), Nebraska (Adrian Martinez), Clemson (Kelly Bryant), and at Florida State (Deondre Francois). However there are still decisions to make at Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU. The CFP implications can be boiled down to about 10-15 matchups with Auburn and Ohio State being the linch pin schools. On the college football edition of the GSMC Football Podcast host Tom Dougherty discusses the Urban Meyer press conference and goes over the schedule for the upcoming Kickoff Week. Urban Meyer, Gene Smith, and Ohio State president Michael V. Drake held a press conference after the 10 hour deliberation session between President Drake and the Ohio State board of trustees. The press conference started with the announcement of the 3 game suspention for Urban Meyer and the two week suspention handed down to Gene Smith. Tom gives his thoughts on how the men answered questions from the media and talks about the systemic issues at Ohio State that allowed all of this to happen. Tom also goes over the games for the Kickoff Week, a week that will feature games between Washington and Auburn, LSU and Miami, and Michigan and Notre Dame.
