Sarah discusses 3 of the 14 readings that are assigned for the Easter Vigil.  First is Genesis 7:1-8; 11-18; 8:6-18; 9:8-13, which tells the story of Noah's Ark and God's promise to never again flood the earth.  Next is Proverbs 8:1-8; 19-21; 9:4b-6, which talks of Woman Wisdom, and might seem like an odd choice for the Vigil.  Finally, she looks at Romans 6:3-11 which speaks of how when we are baptized we are baptized into both Jesus' death and resurrection, and why this is good news. Sarah looks at 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 where Paul reminds the church at Corinth what the Lord's Supper is really about.  The Gospel text from John 13:21-32 is similar in that it takes place at Jesus' last supper with his disciples, where he instituted the Lord's Supper, but in these verses he is speaking of his upcoming death, specifically of Judas, who is set to betray Jesus.
