It's our NHL draft preview episode featuring clips from Nashville Predators General Manager David Poile and Assistant General Manager/Director of Scouting Jeff Kealty. Then, Preds Chief Amateur scout joined the program to discuss the NHL draft as well as the details of being a scout and analyzing players. Next, Independence High School goaltender Grant Williams came on the program to talk about the upcoming season for the Greater Nashville Area Scholastic Hockey (GNASH) league. Williams currently plays for the Independence-Spring Hill squad. Lastly, we discuss cake or pie, barbecue, top targets for adding on defense and top trade targets for the Preds.

Nashville Predators General Manager David Poile and Assistant GM/Director of Scouting Jeff Kealty addressed the media ahead of the NHL Draft. Here, our Justin B. Bradford asks Poile about the recent signing of goaltender Devin Cooley & the org having three picks in the top 42 this year. He speaks with Jeff Kealty about evaluating draft-eligible players after the abrupt halt in the spring, Tolvanen and Trenin on loan to the KHL and how Milwaukee has helped prepare some Preds prospects for more time in the NHL.

Next, Olympic gold medalist and Hockey Hall of Famer Angela Ruggiero joined the program to discuss 3Ice hockey coming to Nashville as well as her career and the growth of hockey.

Carmine Guerriero is returning to the University of Alabama in Huntsville as an assistant coach. Guerriero defended the crease for the Chargers from 2013-2017. He also spent time in the ECHL as well as the French league. Guerriero was previously the goaltending coach for St. Lawrence University. Justin Bradford caught up with him about the big news. Cameron and Justin are joined by Pixar Story Artist, Writer and Director Bobby Rubio. Rubio is the writer/director of the Pixar SparkShorts film Float. They discuss everything from Filipino culture, designing Marvel Comics covers, working in animation and his short, Float, which feature's Pixar's first filipino character. The short celebrates being different and tells Rubio's own story about having a child on the autism spectrum. Other films and series that Rubio has worked on: Incredibles 2, Inside Out, Brave, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Up, Treasure Planet, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, The Emperor's New Groove, Tarzan, Mulan, Hercules and Pocahontas.
