 #39 – Black Mamba and a Masters Meltdown | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:04:50

Kobe Bryant played his last game, but where does he rank amongst some of the greatest of all time? And what happens when you get a quadruple bogey heading into your final 9 holes. Plus we take a look at the complete NFL schedule, basketball playoffs, and the Olympic Sport of the week, Shooting.

 #38 – Sweep The Legs Chase! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 39:40

Baseball is back and with comes the notorious leg taker-outer, Mr. Chase Utley. Not even a week in and he goes after some legs. Like a hungry crocodile he waits below the surface, ready to chomp away. Oh, and March Madness is over for the men and women. Villanova won on a buzzer beater and UConn dominated…again. Music by RoccoW and C-Doc, opening March Madness clip from NCAA March Madness via TBS.

 #37 – Big Ole Burgerizzas | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:13:27

Insane ballpark foods are a must and with opening day coming up, we give you a rundown of some of the finest eats America’s ballparks have to offer. But first, we get a bit serious and talk about some implications of legislation and what effect it will have on the NBA/NFL. Lots of stuff to get through so listen away! Closing song “Electric Donkey Muscles” by RoccoW.

 #36 – Happy Birthday Mr. Undertaker | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:21

March Madness, wrestling, football and football. It’s That One Sports Show, were you looking for some other type of program?

 #35 – Columbus Crew Jackets Play Badminton | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:12:37

We swing on by to see what is happening in the Columbus sports scene, who is at the bottom of the NHL, a player leaving football (momentarily) to head to the Olympics (maybe), a baseball player choosing family first and Olympic Badminton scandals. Note: John was wrong, Olympic walking is still an event for the Rio Olympics. John was also wrong, you can play music through your mouth. Music this week, This One with Tell Me How and Hissing Pallas with Last Defender.

 #34 – Auto-bids, Omaha Sunsets and Free Agency | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:12:24

A lot to get to in this episode and it all starts with a check in for where things are with March Madness. Just a few days away from Selection Sunday and it’s getting pretty darn exciting. Peyton Manning retired, Calvin Johnson retired, and so did Matt Hasselbeck, Charles Woodson (to go make wine presumably) and so many free agent shenanigans went down. John also takes a look at Handball in the Olympics and it’s Paralympics counterpart, Goalball. All that and more on this week’s episode. Closing song “Omaha”. Opening by Audiobinger with a quote from Peyton Manning’s retirement speech. Also, enter the March Madness Bracket Challenge for a chance to win an Amazon gift card.

#33 – Rat Tails, Hamstrings and Paddles, Oh My! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 58:52

Can Joey Bosa become table tennis champion on his rise to the top of the March Madness play-in game? No, of course not, that was just a mashup of all the topics rolled into one leading question to try and get you to take a listen to this week’s episode. Music for the week from Ryan Little and Saskrotch.

 #32 – Curry, Brackets, Gymnastics and Bananas | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:00:29

Steph Curry continues to astound from the land of three, but how close is he to being the best to ever shoot the three pointer? Who amongst the up and down the college basketball season has played well enough to deserve a spot in the madness that is March? For your Olympic sport of the week, we look at Gymnastics and round out the show with a brief look at the NFL Combine. Music this week from Ryan Little and Michett.

 #31 – Kobe, Non-Dunkin’ Duncan, and the 112-Year Hiatus | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 58:33

It may have been the highest scoring All-Star game in the history of the NBA, but it came with a sad moment. Kobe Bryant played in his final all-star game, ever. Besides maybe a celebrity all-star game. We talk about that as well as a look into why some people are losing their minds over a sexual assault case that happened 20 years ago. That and some other sportsy things. Music from Anitek with “Hash Stash” and sawsquarenoise with “RottenMage SpaceJacket OST 12”. Opening quote with Kobe, Craig Sager and Lebron James.

#30 – Legends, Mannings and the Floating Sea Sofa | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 57:25
#29 – Injuries, Prop Bets and Left Shark | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:15:55

Super Bowl 50 is upon us, so we took a look at weird prop bets, the history of halftime shows and who we think is going to come out ahead. For prosperity’s sake, here are some predictions we made during the show. Lady Gaga’s national anthem will be how long: John (under 2:20), Geoff (over 2:20) First ball given away by the panthers will be to a… girl (John) Will any backup QBs play? John says no. Will Peyton Manning retire after this game? Yes, no matter what says Geoff. Cam Newton will have 3 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing, per Geoff’s brain. Super Bowl Scores: John – Carolina wins 30-14, Geoff – Carolina wins 31-20 Will Left Shark make an appearance at halftime? Geoff – not on the main stage but in the stands. Who will have the most popular commercial? Geoff – Budweiser or Doritos. John – Snickers.

#28 – Does Anyone Like the Pro Bowl? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:05:14

Lets face it. The Pro Bowl ain’t what it used to be. The players don’t want to be there. The fans barely want to be there and the viewers at home don’t want to be there. We need some good old fashioned ingenuity to get the Pro Bowl back to being a fun event and we’ve got some ideas on how to do so. Also, a fat man soccer league where you have to have a BMI of 30+ to sign up. Changing all FCs to FFCs. Music this week by ProleteR and Eaters.

#27 – Dirty Players, Villains and the Superdraft | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:10:31

This week’s episode we cover everything. We got your hockey, we got your basketball, we have your long-winded explanation of the MLS Superdraft and formats of the NHL all-star game. Oh yeah, then we get into some NFL. Of course. Also, we discuss ESPN opening up their eSports division, now live. All that plus a brand new opening. Music “RSPN” by Blank and Kytt and “Penguins” by VNessy.

 #26 – Steve Young and Joe Montana – It’s Awkward | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:06:34

This week was full of football, but while everyone is talking about the Vontaze Burfict suspension, something else has been on Johns mind and that’s the relationship between Steve Young and Joe Montana. Two legendary quarterbacks overlapped each other on the same team between 1987 and 1992, so the commercial with the two of them “not being awkward” is even funnier. Oh yeah, some other sportsball happened this week too.

 #25 – Now Batting, Mike Piazaaaaa | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:22:19

While everyone else is talking about Johnny “Billy” Manziel, John and Geoff tackle important issues, like baseball, steroids and the Hall of Fame. Also, how historic was Tim Duncan’s scoreless run? Answer, pretty darn historic. He had the most games played without being scoreless. Music this week, as always, from freemusicarchive.com
