It’s that time again - DJ Frenzy presents October’s edition of #TheDesiFrenzy series! This month, we are introduced to an unusual collaboration between Panjabi Folk vocalist ‘Ranjit Bawa’ and the North American Panjabi Pop vocalist ‘Mickey Singh’. Entwined with smooth R’n’B vibes from the 2016 anthem ‘Luv’ by Canadian rapper ‘Tory Lanez’; this mix is one that will surely get your head nodding! “I always try to challenge myself with the style of mixes that I make and see what kind of interesting combinations I can come up with. I think it was about time that I made a more chilled-out mix, rather than the usual hyped-dancefloor type mixes. It’s something different from myself, but hopefully you’ll still enjoy it and appreciate it for what it is! Oh… and make sure you check out the ending… My favourite part of the mix :)”

DJ Frenzy is back with September’s edition of #TheDesiFrenzy series! After everyone's collective votes via Snapchat and Instagram, DJ Frenzy has decided to fuse three types of music (Dancefloor, Commercial and Folk) to create this month’s mix. Legendary folk duo ‘Surinder Shinda & Gulshan Komal’ feature on this mash-up of the Summer club anthem ‘I Took A Pill in Ibiza’. “It was a split vote between all three types of music, so I thought I would try to merge them all together and create something unique…Let me know what you think!”

The August edition of #TheDesiFrenzy series is here, in the form of; #DiljitFrenzy! Arguably, one of the biggest Panjabi singers of this generation, Diljit Dosanjh’s multitude of anthems are synonymous with almost everyone that listens to Bhangra. Combining this collection of hits with the biggest male Pop star in the world, Justin Bieber, alongside the electronic dancehall beats of world famous EDM collective Major Lazer - this mash-up has all the ingredients to be the perfect soundtrack for the rest of your summer. “It’s been a while since I last featured Diljit in one of my mixes. I used a snippet of 5 Taara back in January for the ‘In2 Narma’ mix, but I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to feature this song properly. With a few more of his recent tracks and a few cheeky samples along the way, this mix is one for the car, the gym and everything in between! Hope you enjoy it!”

DJ Frenzy is back with July’s edition of #TheDesiFrenzy series; #AkhilItUp This month’s mash-up features the melodious vocals of the latest Panjabi singing sensation; Akhil and the monstrous, electronic beats of world famous EDM producer Major Lazer - blended together to ensure that another track is added to your summer playlist. “This month, I thought I would change things up and create something fast-paced and edgy. This one is aimed at the International club scene, but it’s generally a vibrant, up-tempo and distinctly happy tune - perfect for the summer! Watch out for the little twist at the end…”

#DJFrenzy presents #June's edition of #TheDesiFrenzy series A song which celebrates the relationship between a Father and Son; dedicated to my Dad on #FathersDay "I first heard the original version of this song back in 2009 and instantly loved the lyrics and vibe of the track. But I felt like something was missing. Almost 7 years later, I came across it again and decided to add my own #Frenzy twist on it; inspired by the style of Tru-Skool and Panjabi MC.

Introducing May's edition of the ‪#‎TheDesiFrenzy‬ monthly series Fusing ‪#‎Drake‬ with a ‪#‎Frenzy‬ special; to create an upbeat mash-up for the dancefloors, with the addition of blistering Dhol provided by ‪#‎BeatsByLions‬ Dhol team. "This is the first time that I’ve had a live dhol recording done for a mix, so I’m excited to see the response for this one. I've tried to do something unique with the mix overall too, in the style that I usually do, so it should be interesting to see the feedback."

"I’ve been working on this mix for a while, but the expectations for an upbeat, fast tempo mix have always been at the forefront. I feel that Vaisakhi is the perfect time to release this mix; it’s a collection of meaningful songs with a feel-good, laid-back, chilled-out vibe.
