Our City Podcast

Eighth grade students at Lynbrook North Middle School are delighted to introduce our lovely village located on the South Shore of Long Island in the wonderful state of New York. Students spent time in the library researching their history and learning about the past. Enjoy their podcast and you’ll discover why they love Lynbrook!

Fourth graders at Eugene Field Elementary School in Mr. Smith’s class in Hannibal, Missouri like making podcasts and blogs. They enjoy doing Internet projects, video with other classes, and sharing with email pals in Japan and Taiwan.

Students in Mrs. Abernethy's 5th grade class at East Elementary School call themselves the Cyber Chickens. They researched, wrote the scripts, and recorded each segment for the episode. Music in the podcast was found on the internet as a midi file, and students made up lyrics and sang the song.

The fifth grade students in Mrs. Kerbaugh’s after school podcasting club are ready to tell you all about their home town. These four students attend Longfellow Junior High School in Hill City, Kansas and work with their former third grade teacher, Mrs. Kerbaugh, at Hill City Grade School on podcasting. Their episode highlights the history, geography, and climate of the area. They will also share information on notable people from Hill City and a little about every day life.

Fifth graders in Mr. Reilly's, Mrs. Reeks', Mrs. Stec's, and Mrs. Rippe's classes at Memorial School in Tinley Park, Illinois have a great episode out their hometown. Sixth and eighth graders in Jennifer Ewing's summer school class at Rogersville City School have put together a fantastic episode about their home in eastern Tennessee.

Third grade students at St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School worked with their computer lab teacher, Nancy Bennett, to bring you this episode.

Mr. Coley's fifth graders are no strangers to podcasting. They have a great podcast called ColeyCast. These talented students at Tovashal Elementary School are here to tell you all about the city they call home: Murrieta. Listen for several informative segments.

Fourth graders at Hoover Elementary School have produced an episode all about their city in western Iowa: Council Bluffs. With the help of Mr. Matt Haan, Instructional Technologist, and their teacher, Mrs. Deb Hernandez, the students have lots of great information to share about their home town.

Anahi, Amzy, and Davaughn from Shaw Elementary School produced a short video to tell about the neighborhood around their school. Shaw Elementary is near downtown Phoenix, Arizona and close to Chase Field.

The fifth grade students in Mrs. Sue Baker's Enrichment Learning Center class are here to tell you about Dayton, Ohio. The students are from four elementary schools in the West Carrollton School District, which is a suburb located in the southwest corner of the city.
