Natalia Koss Vallejo is an activist and feminist. Although she’s motivated by anger, you wouldn’t know it from her demeanor. She’s a diminutive woman with a lion’s roar about the issues she cares about. And she isn’t shy at all about jumping right into sensitive topics. Topics that generally aren’t talked about publicly. We talk about how Natalia got involved with politics at a very early age and how she's worked to right an unfair system that affect many women.

Radha Agrawal is probably best known for having founded Daybreaker, an early morning dance party that’s currently in 25 cities and has a half a million people in the community. Once a month Daybreaker takes place in each of these 25 cities. These consist of a one-hour yoga session followed by two hours of dance. All this takes place early enough in the morning that you can participate and then go to work. Think of it like a scaled down version of Burning Man where 300 – 600 people get jiggy with it.
This conversation is with Sue Hollis, an Australian who splits her time between Australia and Canada. Sue just released Riding Raw: The Journey from Empty to Full which chronicles her three-month ride through North America on her 1000 CC BMW. Michele Clarke-Mason is the nutritionist for the Seattle Seahawks and has been called their secret weapon. She gives them nutritional guidance to help them perform better on the field and recover more quickly off the field. In this conversation, we talk about how she works with elite athletes to get them to eat healthier and also help them to recover from what is a high impact sport. We also talk about how she manages to navigate being one of only a handful of women in a mostly male organization.
Beth Massa is a sustainable packaging entrepreneur. Beth is, as we all should be, very concerned about the environment and our impact upon the planet. Beth is creating a first of its kind retail store, Ozarka, that doesn’t carry any products in single use containers. She believes big changes need to happen with the manufacturers and producers of products and is doing something about it in a very direct way by addressing the problem in her adopted home of Amsterdam.

In this episode, I talk about my most recent experience running a marathon (the Jack and Jill Downhill) near Seattle. It was my best time running a marathon thus far, it qualified me for the Boston Marathon (again) and I did so having just come off a bit of an injury that I thought was going to sideline me from running in the race at all!
My guest today is travel writer and overall badass, Paula Froelich. When Paula was the Deputy Editor for Page Six of the NY Post, Keith Olbermann named her “Worst Person of the Year." But she's also been called by Time Magazine "Person of the Year." Luckily, Paula’s got a good sense of humor, especially when it comes to Paula. Paula and I hit upon a variety of topics including her very early interest in travel, travel writing, being a responsible citizen & traveler and so much more.
Latoya Snell is a self-described fat runner. A term she uses and embraces. She started running on a lark, because of an agreement she made with a friend. But once she started, she was hooked. Running literally changed her life. Losing 100 pounds didn't make her any happier, however. She now embraces her weight and shows people that one can be fit and fat. Her bravery in owning her story has made her an inspiration to many.
Today’s conversation is with Linda Fane. In this episode, we focus on belief in the sense of us being able to conjure up an idea or a goal and then being able to make that happen. The mind is the means to the end and everything that has been and will be created in the future is because of our mind. We explore what it means to have a belief and the importance of knowing ourselves well enough that we’re then not being swayed by other people.
