We will be re-watching the entire series starting with Season 1 Episode 1 - and encourage you to do the same. You won't be sorry! Or you might, but we will just forget that.  S2 E9: Mmm | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:37

We're back after a long holiday weekend and have hit 6800 listens! Make sure to leave a review and subscribe so we can hit a K because if we do Abbey has agreed to provide cake. This episode is full of Thanksgiving cheer, which is appropriate as we head into fall. Abbey claims Izzie as her Grey's holiday spirit animal because she likes to keep everyone happy, and Bri claims Cristina as her's because she likes to get drunk. George is actually pretty funny and tolerable this episode and Burke is a pretty cool guy as well, saving the holiday with his mad cooking skills and poignant turtleneck. Shot gun workup: vegetable guy. His story is kind of a drag, especially over the holiday. He's our only patient this episode, and spoiler alert: he dies. Meredith and Derek say goodbye for the 15th time, and we can only assume Addison and Derek finally do it. At the end of the episode it's pretty obvious Meredith is going to get it on with some random as well. All and all this episode gained a decent scalpel rating, because let's face it who doesn't love the holidays!

 S2 E8: A poor man's McDreamy | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:33:36

Scrubbing in with us this week is the infamous username "Iheartjoshhutcherson" Natalie Marcus! She's a joy to have on the podcast, and quite frankly, a joy to be around in general. Bri has finally moved, and tells her story of smudging her new apartment, coping with the move, and finally settling in. Natalie is visiting Abbey from Wisconsin, and Abbey is shooting yoga classes and ladies in their skivvies. The three of them waste no time pouring wine and chatting their favorite characters. They do a quick shotgun work up of the patients in this episode, agreeing four patients is too many. The ladies talk about the poor mans Derek, question what they would do if they were put in Sav's position, get annoyed by George (obviously), reiterate that Izzie is too emotional, and feel all the GGB's for Derek and Meredith in the final scene. The characters are finally developing and perhaps a new storyline is on it's way! Jumanji is mentioned again, because it deserves a special place in everyone's heart. Things are about to shift at Seattle Grace Hospital and we can't wait to chat about what comes next! Also, WARNING there are a few spoiler alerts this episode, so if you don't want to hear them just remember to hit fast forward.

 S2 E7: Great board Chief! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:37

It's just another morning where Abbey and Bri drink coffee, and talk about your favorite show Grey's Anatomy. This week on the podcast Abbey and Bri spend a lot of time mentally preparing for the end of summer, and the transition into the next seasons (winter is coming). It's important to process aloud the inevitable weight gain and hibernation that's about to take place. Bri's favorite line in this episode is "great board chief" and makes sure she says it too many times. There's also pregnant man that looks like Ellen Degeneres, fire in body cavities, and a flirting Meredith who may or may not portray drunkenness and flirting in the same way. A big kiss at the end of the episode gets them excited, but not quite enough to rate the episode higher than last week. There's quite a bit of spoiler alerts at the end of the episode, so if you're a Grey's newbie you may want to save that portion for a later date. For you veterans take a listen and post your feedback!

 S2 E6: The Leg of Redemption | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:19:50

This week on The On Call Room there is finally a huge emergency, a train wreck. Not only is there a physical train wreck (pole people), but Meredith is a metaphorical train wreck, as she is wasted. This storyline pairs well with the amount of wine Abbey and Bri were drinking. Bri starts a new segment about fashion, so you'll want to tune in for that, because...fashion. The two of them go live for the first time while recording to answer the classic childhood game "kill, fuck, marry". There's some debate on which to choose, so make sure to scream your answer at the podcast while you listen. Some other topics include but are not limited to: missing legs, douche on a pole, banana bags, cool DJs, and surprises/surprise parties.

S2 E5: Boobs are all very different with special guest Reva! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:08:47

Disclaimer: We understand that our sound situation is less than ideal. Please forgive us and if it really bothers you - please donate more microphones. Is that too forward? We don't care. This week on The On-Call Room we are #blessed to be graced with our dear friend Reva Oleszczuk - who knows nothing of Grey's Anatomy. Nevertheless her insight is *pause* decent and appreciated. The beginning of this episode gets really in-depth with vaginas, boobs and everything buttholes. We are rated explicit for a reason. Also - she's an esthetician. We talk about porn guy, friend zone George, cheating Addison and scaredy-cat Karev. We also FINALLY get to hear our favorite and most iconic line, "Pick me, choose me, love me." by Meredith. Many GGBs were had. And we can't thank Reva enough for flying in from Portland to be on our podcast. (She did not fly in for a family wedding - she was only here to record.)

 S2 E4: "This is not that great ..." | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:57:46

It's a million degrees so Abbey and Bri are recording in the basement this episode. They're both struggling, but they power through somehow managing to form opinions on their favorite characters. This is one of Bri's favorite episodes, although after dissecting it realizes she only likes one scene. Abbey is super impressed with Ellis Grey's acting abilities, as is Bri, especially when she looks like the alien from Signs. Other fun facts: Bri forgot to put on underwear, Abbey has a tattoo that's backwards, and Burke is wearing a gold turtleneck. They've upped the scalpel scale to 10, so make sure you listen and find out what the two of them rate this weeks!

 S2 E3: Power outages and sweaty recordings | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:03:54

After a massive storm hitting their city Abbey is left without power and the two are recording at Bri's house in the sweltering heat. Because when you podcast - you must shut all the windows and turn off all the fans. The two girls laugh over Dr. Burke's strange non-face-facial-expression and get major GGB's over his relationship with Christina and the way Bailey steps up to the plate in this episode. The girls discuss why it's so frustrating to not have control over your life and Abbey wishes the universe would stop pushing this message on her - SHE GETS IT. Bri also gets to read the custom poem that was made for her and the two reflect on how incredibly beautiful it is. Make sure you check out our Instagram to see the real re-enactment of Dr. Burke's face. Thanks for listening - we love you!

 S2 E2: What is enough? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:48:22

Ladies and gentleman it's summertime and your leading ladies are recording in the morning, and be prepared because they've got their NPR voices on. Spoiler alert: they should never be on a morning radio show. Bri grasps the whole episode theme and Abbey is not feeling it. What is enough? Is it enough? When is enough? This episode explores everything enough. Patients are swallowing Judy dolls, Bailey is pulling the long play teaching moment, and Karen flirts with breaking HIPAA. George takes a beating from every character, but we love him anyway. Also, the episode title is a Barbra Streisand song, and Bri is ecstatic, because Babs is a Queen (both Barbra and Bri). Grab your coffee, add some Kahlua, and hit play!

 S2 E1: Where the hell is Joe? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:09:51

It's here! Your leading ladies are back at it again! Season 2 starts off with a bang, literally. Bri talks about how she was in the midst of a hostage situation and Abbey is practically being held hostage by wedding season. The two play who's life sucks the most, SPOILER ALERT, Bri wins. They also waste no time diving into the deep question, what happens when you die? And where the hell did Joe the bartender go during the 45 minutes he was "dead"? Abbey and Bri are excited to dissect all their favorite characters again, and thrilled that this episode finally offers an iconic scene. They are right back into their banter and are feeling all the GGB's!

BONUS EPISODE 02: Update and listen to our theme song! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:11:52

Bri and Abbey are here with another inadequate bonus episode to keep you invested until Season Two aires. In this episode we finally get to show you our beautiful new intro music by our friend Eric LaNoue. SPOILER ALERT! The girls also talk theories about the upcoming current season and the possibility of return of favorite character, Teddy. Don’t give up on us yet - we’ve got season two airing soon. Thanks for your love and support.

BONUS EPISODE 01 : Cold Reads with Special Guest Kristen | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:57:38

Surprise! The On Call Room gals are delivering a special bonus episode this week during our hiatus. Abbey and Bri invite Kristen back to do "cold reads" of some of their favorite scenes from season 1. The three of them share their personal experiences with surgery and silly moments on pain meds, and deliver Emmy worthy performances. In true surgeon spirit they make this into a competition passing out points for who acted the best. Who will win?? Grab a glass of wine, hit play and find out!

 S1 E9: Sexual Awakening - the finale! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:18:51

It's finally here -- the season one finale of Grey's Anatomy and Abbey and Bri have so many feels! This episode is all about lying, telling the truth, and syphilis. Bri talks about her sexual awakening in 7th grade, and strangely enough Abbey's was not that different. This leads them down a rabbit hole of conversation about sex education, AIM, asking boys out over the Internet (or if you're abbey in a hand written letter) and countless other memories. This episode of Grey's really provided the first "shock factor" which leads Abbey and Bri to give it their highest ratings yet. Make sure you check out their Instagram page @theoncallroompod for their FIRST GIVEAWAY! Thank you so much to our listeners for making it this far with us! We love you!

 S1 E8: The Psychic is Real! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:56:04

We are recording from a new location this week! Abbey drives over to Bri's house to mix things up a bit, and also because Bri refuses to leave her home after work. Bri's life is a clumsy mess as she moves through Mercury Retrograde, and her notes this episode reflect it. Abbey has really grasped the theme of the episode, and it pairs perfectly where we are at astrologically. The two claim this as a "hippy dippy" episode because science is overlooked for psychics and faith in intuition. Some of their favorite moments include, Karev reciting the plagues (which Bri almost names them all), the trailer, and Cristina and Burke entering a space in their relationship where they don't only have to be sexing when they enter the on call room. This is the last episode before the season finale and the two of them are already dreaming up what big thing they can offer to their listeners when they finish season one. So, take a listen and gab along with these gals on the shifting of planets, and the growth of their favorite cast.

 S1 E7: Our Musical Episode | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:09:37

Bri and Abbey break into multiple smash hits on their next episode, ultimately claiming it as their very own "musical episode." Bri has finished her first week of the whole 30 and Abbey drinks LaCroix with her in solidarity. Bri has also recently done some research on animals that kill the most humans, and shares her findings, Abbey graciously engages. They question what the auditions would be like for medical ailments including seizures and "clearing." They decide they're on team Meredith when it comes to her choices in her love life and are over her bosses hounding her personal choice. And of course they laugh uncontrollably throughout, especially when Abbey's chair squeaks and Bri thinks Abbey is hiding something. Other thoughts include: Izzie copes with baking, George and Izzie are underdogs, Christina and Meredith are top dogs, and the casts hair is more realistic in this first season You won't want to miss this episode as it will have you laughing along.

S1 E6: Budget Cuts with special guest Kristen Claeys scrubbing in! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:19:47

Episode 6 is finally here and for the first time ever we have a hilarious guest scrubbing in on the pod! Original Grey’s viewer Kristen Claeys joins The On Call Room for what won’t be the last time. Somehow the girls begin talking about their Hogwarts houses - and Abbey realizes that George and her are both Hufflepuffs. This explains so much. The three girls discuss what happened the previous evening when they went out to a bar - and are wondering why they don’t get hit on by any McDreamy’s. They discuss the relationship traits of Derek and Burke - and wonder why they are so much more needy than the women they are with. They also apologize for shit talking to Shonda and realize that she could easily ruin all of their careers - including the podcast. The episode includes tumors, sad dads and finally some story lines that make them feel things. Including the first occurrence of GGB’s (Grey’s Goosebumps). Kristen leads Bri and Abbey in a game which they call the Bokhee game. Abbey and Bri act out emotions using only their eyes and it’s not the best game for a podcast. And lastly - the girls discuss the immense amount of budget cuts in the show and somehow - Kristen finds out that she is covered in wine. It’s a good one!
