Following Robbie’s debut release on Axtone titled ‘Falling Deeper’, episode eight showcases Robbie’s earlier varying influences that have helped define his well known drum-driven sound. Legends such as Danny Tenaglia, New Order, and Armand van Helden make an extended appearance in the podcast with Robbie highlighting his own keyboard-focused production. Axtone alumni also arrive in full force with Michael Calfan, Chocolate Puma, and Shapov leaving a firm footprint in the podcast. With a diverse selection of music, Robbie’s take on ‘Axtone Presents’ is sure to resonate with fans of Axtone as it parallels the label’s ideology from 2005 to 2015.

‘Axtone Presents’ is pleased to welcome Ibiza dweller and Groove Cartel co-founder Tom Staar to the airwaves, in one its most highly anticipated mixes yet. Episode seven comes alongside Tom’s Axtone debut, ‘Bora’, an inescapable Miami Music Week anthem. Tom’s quality and diversity has made him a producer’s producer, with his take on ‘Axtone Presents’ proving just that. Immediately, listeners will notice Tom’s appreciation for the past with British pioneers Fatboy Slim and Underworld being featured early on, while label boss Axwell, makes an appearance through Tom and Kryder’s remix of ‘Something New’. Unreleased tracks, IDs, and some of Tom’s most well-known remixes close out the podcast in what is sure to be mix that listeners will keep on repeat throughout 2015.

‘Axtone Presents’ looks towards the east with its’ latest episode highlighting Russian newcomer, Shapov. Although a new moniker, Shapov’s history with Axtone artist Hard Rock Sofa, has attracted the attention of fans throughout the dance music spectrum due to the quality of productions. Following his self-titled EP, ‘Party People’ and ‘Disco Tufli’ fully speak for Shapov’s diversity and eagerness to take on the dance music world, leaving his mark as he goes. Axtone kicks off the New Year by inviting UK-based producers CamelPhat, to grace the airwaves of ‘Axtone Presents’. Since premiering via B Traits’, Radio 1 Special Delivery, ‘Paradigm’ has promptly risen to number 1 in the Buzz Chart while racking up widespread support from BBC heavyweights, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, and Danny Howard. Within the podcast CamelPhat appropriately showcase their electronic influences, by unearthing their past exploits on German label, Jeudi Records and tossing listeners an unexpected curveball in the form of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Axtone head honcho, Axwell makes an appearance through his timeless rendition of Faithless, while Defected gets a nod in CamelPhat’s 30-minute mix. 2015 aptly starts with ‘Axtone Presents’ proving its’ diversity as a podcast, ultimately being symbolic of Axtone’s creed. Listeners can expect an eclectic style of podcasts for the rest of what is bound to be a forward-thinking year, for Axtone and for House music.

The fourth and final installment of ‘Axtone Presents’ comes from the Groove Cartel’s Kryder in grandiose fashion. Following his pumping remix of Kö lsch’s ‘All That Matters’, Kryder chooses ambiguity by presenting listeners with no less than 8 unknown tracks. Throughout the podcast we learn of Kryder’s love for Sasha, his past exploits as a pizza boy, and his lucky streak. With half of his mix focusing on the past, Kryder also looks to the future with a new rendition of ‘Moonlight Party’ and a new collab between famed French producers Arno Cost and Norman Doray. Although this may be the end of ‘Axtone Presents’, listeners can certainly look forward to a celebratory 2015 that will feature a wide range of artists, events, and content that will always put quality house music first.

In this, the 3rd edition of 'Axtone Presents', NEW_ID show their love and respect for Eric Prydz, recall the club where they first found 'the funk' and reveal the track they most like to listen to whilst sipping a late night whisky. Their mix features some of the boys’ personal edits alongside some of their latest productions, current go‐to tracks from their sets, plus a nailed on classic from Röyksopp. 'Axtone Presents: NEW_ID' is debuted on air from 28th November and available from 31st November online. Following the inaugural episode of ‘Axtone Presents: Deniz Koyu', the show makes its return, this time recruiting Dutch duo ‘DubVision’. In this second edition of the series, Victor and Stephan take a look back at some of their biggest influences. Throughout this podcast, they reveal a techno past, relive festival memories like listening to Luciano at Sonar, recall the time they heard Axwell playing their single ‘All by Myself’ in Miami 2012 (we were there too!) and show some love for the legendary Daft Punk. The first half of the show features the likes of Joris Voorn, Julien Jabre, Zedd and Discopolis whilst the second half snaps straight to the present with tracks and productions from Axtone alumni Kryder, Arty and Hook N Sling plus of course material from DubVision themselves including some special mashups. Deniz Koyu kicks off the first ‘Axtone Presents’ podcast, the first in an initial four part series that looks to draw on artists’ inspirations, glancing at the past and looking towards the future of electronic music. Mapping out his musical journey, Deniz explores his early influences including the track that convinced his friends to migrate from the trance to house music clubs in his hometown. The first half of the show features a heavy dose of Swedish artists including Eric Prydz, Miike Snow, Alesso, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell alongside Mylo, M.A.N.D.Y. vs Booka Shade and Duke Dumont. As befits the show’s agenda, the second half is a mix of Deniz’s current favourites bookmarked by his collaboration with Twoloud and ‘Sun In Your Eyes’ by Michael Brun and DubVision. Further editions of ‘Axtone Presents’ to look forward to will include specials from Axtone’s very own NEW_ID and fellow Dutchmen DubVision.
