Gallup Called to Coach with Paul Allen 11-03-2016 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3245

In this Called to Coach, Paul runs through the steps that Gallup continues to take to support the strengths movement and strengths coaches in their efforts to bring strengths to individuals and teams around the world. Gallup is pushing for every StrengthsFinder customer to get coaching, they don’t want people to stop at the assessment. Paul loves big ideas and he knows it’s a huge commitment to build Exchange as a sustainable model that helps millions of people get coaching from our certified coaches. He assures there is sustained effort from dozens of Gallup employees to getting Exchange off the ground. Gallup has started sending leads to the coaches on Exchange. Currently, Exchange offers 12 different coaching categories: career, executive, faith, leadership, management, marriage and relationship, parenting, personal development, family, life, team and sales team coaching. Gallup will monitor when a person comes to Exchange for the first time and see which of those categories they click the most. And Gallup will be sharing the information in the strengths coaches monthly newsletters and on Called to Coach webcasts. Exchange will also feature session prep tools, to hopefully save coaches hours of prep when they are going into an individual or team coaching session. Paul takes a look at the big picture, where strengths coaching started, where it is today and where it’s heading in the future. Paul doesn’t have Context in his top strengths, but with his background in Ancestry.com he’s spent a lot of time searching historical records and walking down memory lanes. He recently looked on Archive.org, a website devoted to archiving internet history, to see if they captured what Ancestry.com looked like when it began many years ago. It reminds him that Gallup Exchange is in early beta, and that we hope to continue to improve this system through constant updates over time and from feedback from our coaches and customers.  Coaching Strengths From Locker Room to Conference Room (S4E27) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3147

Maureen Electa Monte was first introduced to strengths in a leadership class in 2006. She immediately started using strengths with her own grad students, with a focus on teams. She recently authored the book “Destination Unstoppable”, which discusses a model for leading, accelerating and fully harnessing the talent on a team. She is able to ignite the chemistry on teams by helping them understand their own and each teammate’s CliftonStrengths. Providing a renewed energy and optimism. Maureen’s primary work has been with sports teams, but she also works with business teams. The difference, she says, is the mindset of the coach and business leader. A coach knows he needs to invest in his players to win. A business leader doesn’t always see it from that perspective. With a business leader she has to first help them understand why developing their team is a worthy investment for them.To learn more about becoming a Certified Strengths Coach at the Gallup Strengths Center: http://on.gallup.com/1i5OXhq.Gallup's Called to Coach is a live Webcast that targets current and prospective coaches to interact with Gallup experts and independent strengths coaches who have found success in strengths-based development.

On a recent EP10 Quarterly Update, we spoke with Gallup Senior Global Talent Channel Leader of Entreprenuership and Job Creation, Todd Johnson and Dr. Sangeeta Badal, Gallup Principal Scientist -- Entrepreneurship and Job Creation. Todd shared that the highly- anticipated Coaches' Insight Report is available. Only Ep10 trained coaches will have access to this powerful and impactful data. The cost of the report is $50.00, however, if you have already taken the EP10 assessment, upgrading to this report is only $38.00. That is, if you have already taken EP10, you don't have to retake it. Instead, your data will be imported into this report. In order to pull over your data into this report, Gallup will need your name and the code you used for the EP10 assessment. This report is not a selection tool. Rather, it provides information and scores on a person's overall entrepreneurial role and activity -- not their entrepreneurship. The rreport is about understanding, coaching and harnessing entrepreneurial talent and energy. This assessment will help build the right entrepreneurial team and its application is much broader than the start-up community. To hear more about this exciting new report and EP10, please listen to the audio above.

Gallup Called to Coach with Paul Allen_08_26_2016 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3709

What is the Gallup Exchange? What are the issues and concerns that coaches have? On today's Called to Coach, Paul Allen answers these questions and more. Paul starts by explaining how excited Gallup is to empower coaches who are passionate about strengths to grow their business and help them be successful at doing what they love to do through the Gallup Exchange. Gallup is creating a something new that’s never been done before, and while we don’t have all the answers now, we’re going to continue to develop and move forward with the Exchange. What’s the global rollout strategy for Gallup Exchange? Phase 1 has already started with adding the certified coaches that attended the CliftonStrengths Summit in July. The first set of leads have been made available for testing the system, and soon all of the leads will be released daily. Next, the Exchange will open to other certified coaches in the U.S., then international certified coaches in English speaking counties. The language translations of Exchange is under examination right now and we hope to be able to open it up to non-English speaking countries soon.
