Knowing Animals

We talk to animal lawyer Mike Rosalky. Mike is a Partner and co-founder of K & R Animal Law, a commercial law firm that specalises in animal law, and he is a volunteer Director and Senior Lawyer with the Animal Defenders Office, a community legal centre that specialises in animal law.

Today we discuss Jeannette’s book chapter ‘How to Make a Horse Have an Orgasm’ which appeared inthe book ‘Living With Animals: Bonds Across Species’ published by Cornell University Press in 2018.

We discuss her journal article ‘‘Pussy Panic’ and Glass Elevators: How Gender is Shaping the Field of Animal Studies’ which appeared in the journal 'Australian Feminist Studies', in 2019. The article is co-authored by Yvette Watt and Siobhan O’Sullivan.
