Patch is also a freelance touring drummer. In this episode: Born to play: We get to know the early beginnings of Patch’s drum life. Born to Play: Patch’s drum career started when he was five years old and he didn't even know it yet. After moving to Phoenix and receiving his first kit Patch took some basic lessons but overall taught himself. Patch came from a family of musicians and although went to school for medicine found himself falling in the family “business”.   Nashville Auditions: From small gigs around the Phoenix area with his parents to the drummer for his church Patch is no stranger to the life of a gigging drummer in fact Patch had just gotten home from the airport from his audition in Nashville right before this episode. Patch plans to take drumming to the next stage and make it more of his career in the next few months. Gear Guru: Patch can and does break down everything he uses to record and the gear he plays on. Patch and Kev really enjoy talking about their gear. It's a fresh week over here at Drummers I Like and I wanted to start it with some major knowledge bombs! Today I want to dwell deep into the art of Instagram growth hacking and some of the methods I use to grow our account every day.  Along with Drummers I Like, I also run a handful of other social media accounts that have experienced some pretty fascination growth rates. Some of the techniques I use are proprietary and some are out in the open... I'll fill you in. A few points I cover:  The amount of time it takes to develop and execute your plan Why understanding your brand demographic is key. How continual adjustment is KEY! Whatever way you choose to look at it growing a channel on Instagram is not easy these days.
