 085: Professional Triathlete Caroline Coble | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:08:49

You all are in for a treat today! I have lifelong friend and forever teammate Caroline Coble on the podcast today. We grew up togetherin Colorado where we were soccer teammates for over 10 years. Caroline continued her career at Cal Berkley where she unfortunately tore her ACL. She goes through the rehab process with me but mostly talks about how she used that as a way to grow. It was challenging, but once she learned to listen to her body, she could appreciate the growth and progress. Caroline is now a Professional Triathlete as of 2019! She is quickly becoming one of the people to be known in the sport as she breaks barriers and competes at the highest level all while still working a full time job. During the podcast she said how she helps herself get through... "Mile 17 at the end of a marathon at the end of an Ironman, I really try and take a deep breath and lighten the mood. I take a deep breath and say, 'Like it ain’t no shit.' Honestly it helps so much. It puts a smile on my face, makes me feel relaxed, and reminds me that I chose to do this." Caroline ended the podcast with this awesome quote, "Scars mean you have a story and you came through on the other side." Hope you all enjoy this episode!
