Bill O'Reilly is back on Newsmax TV with Wayne Allyn Root to discuss the midterm elections and how the races are tightening. Looking at the polls there has been a lot of movement on the Republican side which seems to be caused by Kavanaugh's confirmation. Wayne and Bill also talked about the missing journalist in Saudi Arabia. The White House is brushing aside threats by Saudi Arabia that it may retaliate economically for any U.S. punishment over the suspected murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, pledging a "swift, open, transparent investigation" into his disappearance. Two leading Republican senators said Congress stands ready to act, including a possible halt of U.S. arms sales to the kingdom, if President Donald Trump doesn't. Should President Trump sanction Saudi Arabia until we know what really happened to Khashoggi? Don't forget O'Reilly's "Killing the SS" is out and available for purchase! Police in Portland, Oregon, say they made no arrests after a violent clash between rivaling protest factions in the city's downtown area. The Saturday night incident is the latest brawl in an ongoing feud between the right-wing group Patriot Prayer and the left-wing Antifa group. Protesters allegedly used "bear spray, bare fists and batons" to attack each other outside a bar for more than a minute before riot police showed up. Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler came under fire over a viral video showing Antifa protesters blocking traffic and harassing drivers, but he says he supports the decision by police to watch from a distance without getting involved. "I was appalled by what I saw in the video, but I support the Portland Police Bureau's decision not to intervene," he said at a press conference. "This whole incident will be investigated." Is that the stance you would want your mayor and police force to take? Find out more on BillOReilly.com

On Thursday, Bill interviewed Tom Jipping, the Heritage Foundation Deputy Director of the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies. Bill and Tom discussed the nomination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and why the left is so vehemently opposed to him. Tom said this was an orchestrated, calculated political hit. Justice Kavanaugh met all of the necessary standards to become a Supreme Court Justice, so why was the left opposed to Kavanaugh's nomination? Because they want political judges. Judges who rule using their own reasoning rather than the Constitution.
