Today, it is generally seen as involving a commitment to personal change & the resolve to live a more responsible & humane life. In other words, being sorry for one's misdeeds. But it can also involve sorrow over a specific sin or series of sins that an individual feels he or she has committed. The practice of repentance plays an important role in the doctrines of Judaism, Christianity, & Islam, where it is often considered necessary for the attainment of salvation. Analogous practices have been found in other world religions as well. In religious contexts, it often involves an act of confession to God or to a spiritual elder. This typically includes an admission of guilt, a promise, or resolve not to repeat the offense; an attempt to make restitution for the wrong, or in some way to reverse the harmful effects of the wrong where possible.

Sunshine Sims, What about Ms. Tee's Daughter? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:55:00

Like Precious Jones, an illiterate sixteen-year-old, in PUSH, the 1996 debut novel of American author, Sapphire, Ms. Tee was dealt an injurious hand in life. Ms. Tee's Daughter tells the tale of the infamous jewelry-wearing, broken-in-spirit con-artist mother she had. Ms. Tee's daughter, herself, discovers her mother had dreams, hopes, and goals of wanting to do what was right in life. As Ms. Tee's daughter discovers the truth about the woman she felt she never knew, she's now faced with the question, "Will she continue the cycle or BREAK the Cycle of Abuse?" Mrs. Sunshine Sims, an author who is also a married, homeschooling mother of four offsprings, enjoys teaching people about God's Kingdom Good News. She also enjoys singing, reading and spending time with her family. According to Mrs. Sims, "All of us have thoughts, opinions, feelings, and emotions; writing helps me to express those thoughts. Bringing like-minded people together is what I hope to do. My Blogs are written to help people who may be going through similar situations that the blogger has experienced. Many say silence is golden, but there is also a time to speak. I want to stand up and speak out because we never know who we might inspire." Visit Mrs. Sims at https://sunshinesims.com/.

Prayer and Deliverance Hour: Delores Callendar-Taylor Helps to Unleash Souls | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:02:00

Unleash Ministry was officially birthed in 2007 following the release of the book, UNLEASHED SOUL: Journal of a Struggling Christian Determined to Win. A group of enthusiastic individuals who met in homes for years decided that the aspect of UNLEASHING was/is a key component to change & growth in Christ. Unleash Ministry is a Christian-based support initiative for anyone looking to grow personally & spiritually, by walking in the victory of the Lord. This ministry is about overcoming life’s challenges, reconnecting to one's Christian walk, & recognizing that without fellowship we remain alone, isolated, & shame-ridden when sin & error enter our lives on a habitual basis. The unique nature of Unleash Ministry is that individuals can activate passion for Christ in various media such as support groups, 1-1 prayer, & fellowship times, via developing skill sets in writing, singing, speaking, evangelizing, & UNLEASHING  Power, Passion, Potential, & Purpose in their lives. In Unleash Ministry, support groups allow anyone to come together in one accord to be open & real before God in a non-judgmental atmosphere of love & caring. The online, groups, home settings meetings are typically unstructured giving way to the Holy Spirit to open avenues of brokenness, thereby providing an opportunity for Godly counsel & support. Unleashing in the context of this ministry allows for burdens to be lifted, transformation of lives, strengthened relationships, trust is built, & hope in Christ is restored and/or developed. The signature book, Unleashed Soul: Journal of a Struggling Christian, now has a sequel book. Visit Delores at: www.unleashministry.com/
