Episode 106: NYCFC added five players in the last week.  Jon and Mike discuss the players that the team added and predict their roles in the 2017 roster.  Jon adds that he believes that the team is fully focused on winning MLS Cup this year. The guys also discuss the two preseason games and specifically the Video Assisted Replay event from Saturday's game that resulted in David Villa's red card. In the second segment Mike and Jon welcome San Antonio FC head coach, Darren Powell, to discuss NYCFC and their USL affiliation.  

Episode 107: Mike and Jon discuss the final preseason game for the 2017 season.  It was an important game because NYCFC debuted three players for the game.  The guys close out the first segment with their thoughts on where players sit on the Depth Chart; who starts, who's competing, who's not even close? It's all there. The second segment features one of NYCFC's newest podcasters, Ian Joy.  Ian gives his impressions on what this team is capable of achieving if the pieces fit together.  He also talks about his new project, Soccer Joy NYCFC. The show ends with a talk about the news that NYCFC is adding a Girls' Academy program this year and some 2017 first team predictions.

New York Red Bulls Round Table Season Preview 2017 The Last Word On NYRB team sat down to discuss the 2017 MLS season ahead for the original New York team. Mike and Jon waste no time heaping praise on 16 year old James Sands.  While his future with NYCFC for 2017 is unclear, what is certain is that the Academy Player turned potential signing held his own against Ecuadorian powerhouse Emelec. The guys then break down the keys of last week's friendly and look at who else showed well and who needs to step up their game.  The conversation on the Emelec game ends with some of the post game interviews, including a special interview with US Ambassador to Ecuador, Tod Chapman. In the third segment the show switches gears as NYCFC's first round draft pick Jon Lewis joins Mike for a interview while he prepares with the US U-20 National Team for the World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Costa Rica. Episode 104: If you thought our 100th episode was crazy, wait until you listen to this.  Mike is on location in Ecuador, Jon is in a mood over not being able to enjoy Twitter and Super Frank announced his retirement.  Mike interviews two of NYCFC's newest players, Sean Johnson and Ugo (Don't call him Sean) Okoli following the team's open session in Stadio Capwell in Ecuador. The guys get back together to discuss the USAvJAM and other news in NYCFC as well as a discussion on stadium news. 

What's up internet? This week was all crazy with MLS Expansion Bids all over the place. That's exactly what we're talking about this we're talking about on this episode of Last Word SC Radio. Matt Pollard is joined by Daniel Sperry to break everything down. Let's get to it. First Evan Ream joins us to talk about the drama going down in Sacramento. Apparently there was a split between one side of the ownership group and the side directly running Sacramento Republic FC. Evan gives the accounts from both sides and weighs in on whether this is a miscommunication or an open war/negociation through the public. We talk about the fan reactions and #NoRepublicNoParty. Evan gives a few ideas as to how this cound play out. Still, outlook hazy.  In segment two, or very own Roy Emanuel makes his podcasting debut.
