We talk Portland Timbers and FC Dallas playing to a 2-2 draw. Then we talk the epic comeback by the Seattle Sounders to draw the New England Revolution.  In the Round Table, we throw out a few ideas for what US Soccer could do with the apparent $100 million surplace they've got. Episode 116: Without Andrea Pirlo or David Villa, NYCFC head to Mapfre Stadium, a place they've never won and get a gritty 3-2 victory.  Newcomers Ben Sweat and Manchester City Loanee, Yangel Herrera both factored heavily into the outcome teaming up for the equalizer in the second half.  Herrera also getting an assist on NYCFC's goal ahead goal. After breaking down the game and discussing what this outcome means for the future of NYCFC, Mike and Jon invite Eric Quintana (@EricGQuintana) from Mouths of the South Podcast to join the show and breakdown the Atlanta United ahead of their first trip to New York.

Kris stops in to talk about the history of the Trillium Cup. The guys talk about its tin cup origins and a bet between the mayors of the cities. Kris talks about the evolution of the rivalry and it's kind of crazy origins with the fans. We talk about the significance of 2011 and how the rivalry and competition is coming to a head this season. Lastly, Kris gives a prediction on who'll win the cup in 2017.  Then Joe Hojnacki joins to the pod to talk about the expansion plays for Providence Park. Episode 113: Patrick Vieira made some interesting decisions in preparing his game plan for Saturday's match versus DC United.  Unfortunately, they didn't go as planned and NYCFC fell to DC 2-1.  Mike and Jon look at the biggest moments of that game and respond to your questions about the team through five games in 2017. In the second segment Philadelphia Union analyst and Sirius XM host, Tommy Smyth, joins the show to discuss the upcoming fixture set for Friday at 7pm. The guys close out the show with final thoughts on DC and a brief conversation about the joint bid for the 2026 World Cup.

Episode 112: It started ugly and despite NYCFC fighting back from an early defensive gaff, the 2-1 victory never really got prettier.  In the end, the points are all that matter.  Mike and Jon discuss the game and attempt to find the bright spots in a poor performance. In the second segment, Sam Stejskal from MLSSoccer.com joins the show to give his insight into the big stories in MLS so far in 2017 and talk about the NYCFC players that are catching his attention. The show wraps up with a look ahead at the final match up between NYCFC and DC United this season.
