When Metallica released Death Magnetic, it was 2008. 8 years ago. There was a time when the four years between Pyromania and Hysteria was considered an age! So yeah... new Metallica album. You're going to hear three tracks from it in this week's show as well as a few less well played tracks from the Biggest of The Big Four's more recent back catalogue. What else? Well, how about tracks from Korpiklaani, Overkill (for the Old Skool Thrashers out there), Devilment and SixxAM, as well as a fantastic bit of Doom from a bit of a Swedish supergroup. Apologies, folks! An "intermittent fault" on my phone line delayed the upload of this episode. Since it's now uploading, I'm going to risk publishing. This week's show is a pretty big one for me. Last month, I interviewed Robb Reiner and Lips of Canada's finest export, the mighty Anvil.
