 Bobcat Goldthwait | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2856

This is an episode of a talk show I created called, "The Paul Mercurio Show" (I struggled with the name). Bobcat was my guest, and this is an amazing look into one of the most groundbreaking comedians of our time. Bob talks about how his father influenced his "unique" comedic point of view, how he developed the "screaming" chracter, setting the Tonight Show set on fire, his daughter's "time of the month," and how he had to ditch the "screaming guy" and turn a page to do the kind of comedy and filmmaking he is now passionate about. A true artist, Bob's is an amazing story.

Rabbi Mark Borovitz | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2976

This the most surprising, eye-opening interview I've done. Rabbi Mark was a mobster, gangster, con man, gambler, thief, and drunk. At 14 his father died. Within months, he was selling stolen goods for the mob, beginning a twenty-year life of crime that ran the gamut from bar hustles and con games to check-cashing scams. In prison, he played every angle and then some. Mark talks about his checkered past and how while in prison he found the keys to saving his soul by helping others which he does to this day. He is the rabbi at Beit T'Shuvah in Los Angeles, The House of Return, a rehabilitation facility for addicts of all kinds. And has dedicated his life to helping those with substance abuse and other problems. This is an AMAZING story. Release date - 04/03/17

 Todd Glass - Comedian | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4839

Todd has a great take on things, smart, angry and funny as hell. We get into how he started doing comedy in high school -- he found out the hard way practicing medicine in High School was illegal. We talk what makes for a good and bad comedy club, dealing with hecklers, and people who hit their kids ... my mom used to hit me with her shoe. That's why I don't wear shoes. Enjoy!  Tom Fontana - Emmy winning TV show creator, writer, producer | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3586

"Oz" set the stage for serialized dramas with flawed characters like "The Sopranos," "Game of Thrones" and more. Tom also is known for "Copper," "Borgia," and "St. Elsewhere." My good friend Tom talks writing at a very young age, like play at the age of 9 and at 11 writing a book where people could get pregnant without touching each other. We discuss his unique writing process -- you gotta hear it -- what he wants people to take from his amazing body of work, how it is much harder to get creative freedom in television these days and much, much more. This is amazing insight into one of the most brilliant writers and producers in the last half century. No joke!
