The Misadventures of Max’s Minions - a Dungeons & Dragons Podcast
Summary: Join five companions and their (usually) benevolent dungeon master in this weekly series as they roll some d20s... and try not to die in the process. In "The Misadventures of Max's Minions", a 4th-edition-based D & D campaign, an eccentric wizard named Maximillian is on the verge of discovering the location of a long-lost maze; one that supposedly hides an incredible treasure. When Max's journal is pick-pocketed while walking the streets of Fallcrest, a group of adventurers comes to his aid and recovers the book. Max then hires them to help complete his research, sending them on increasingly dangerous (and usually hilarious) quests throughout the Nentir Vale to retrieve magical artifacts he requires to perform the ritual that will reveal the location of the maze. Listen in as Dog, the hunter raised by bears, Sting, a psychotic Pixie rogue, Stasi Xen, an ill-tempered fighter, Bullock, an obsessive-compulsive psion, and Kildrek, the party's impatient leader and cleric, attempt to traverse the minefield of misadventures laid before them by the (occasionally) impartial and benevolent DM. Together, they could unlock the secrets behind one of the Vale's greatest mysteries... if they don't kill each other first.

Just when it looked like the Minions were finally getting somewhere in separating fact from fiction in Fallcrest, trouble came knocking on their door, literally. Now the Minions have found themselves in an ambush. Who are the Minion’s latest adversaries, what do they want and, more importantly, do they understand just how important Dog’s appointment is with the town council? Tune in and find out!
Stop us if you’ve heard this one. The Minions have gotten buried in rumors since returning with Max’s astrolabe and sextant and have finally set out to sort out the information from the misinformation. After following dead-end lead after dead-end lead, our heroes could use a little help. The question is, when help comes knocking, should they answer?
The Minions are back in Fallcrest having returned the final two items Max needs to locate his maze. However, before they can enjoy a well-deserved rest, they find Fallcrest has become a hotbed of rumors and gossip and none of it bodes well for our heroes. Can they figure out which leads are credible or are they about to be blindsided?
Our heroes may have finally gotten the upper hand on a cantankerous crew of copper-clad canines and a creepy dwarven cyborg, but could it really be that simple?
After an exhaustive underwater trek, the Minions have located the sunken ship beneath Lake Nen. However, it becomes immediately apparent to all that this adventure is going to be anything but a pleasure cruise.
As the search for Max’s astrolabe and sextant continue, the Minions run into some more aquatic adversaries.

The Minions have tracked down Max’s magical items to the middle of Lake Nen but get jumped before they can think of what to do next. Who’s after them this time? There’s gnoll telling.
The Minions have just finished dispatching with one adversary when they manage to raise the ire of another and the poor folks of Fallcrest are caught in the crossfire. Can our heroes help the citizens in need AND manage to track down Max’s latest list of items?
Can the Minions clean up Clan Carl or are our heroes running out of steam?
The Minions have been ambushed by some familiar faces on their way to answer a summons, now obviously a FAKE summons, from Maximillian. Can our heroes get out of this showdown alive or will Clan Carl get its revenge?
With Stasi’s doppleganger subdued… literally, the Minions are summoned by Max but they quickly learn that, sometimes, summons should go unanswered.
After becoming obvious to the Minions that their fighter, Stasi Xen, was acting a strange, they sprung into action; in the case of Dog, quite literally. Now our heroes are facing off with another group of Tieflings while trying to get to the bottom of what has happened to Stasi.
With the Dumbbell of Fastormel secured, the Minions have enjoyed a little downtime making extra coin and earning room and board as the security at Madam Pagoda’s Bathhouse. Little do they know, though, that their downtime is about to come to an rather abrupt end.
The Dumbbell of Fastormel is in the reach of our heroes IF they manage to survive the onslaught of beasts from the Far Realm and, more importantly, each other.
