The Functional Health Coaching Show | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

In this week's show, here's what we discussed: How do we raise DHEA to counteract cortisol without increasing sex hormones as well? (as in a client who has low DHEA and high sex hormones) My thoughts are through DRESS but would we want to avoid giving hormone drops to someone with high sex hormones? If we give pregnenolone that would increase progesterone? If we give DHEA Reed said that was contraindicated in someone with high estrogen, maybe because that would increase estrogen? So do we just support hormone balance through lifestyle changes like reducing stress, eating organic meat, etc? I have read through the hormone pathways and just can help but wonder-- all sex hormones start with cholesterol and pregnenolone, so if someone has high sex hormones in anyway then hormone drops would be bad idea?Caller: How to choose between the Access Stress and Hormone Panel and DUTCH?Caller: Tips on program development...labs, pricing, length.   Join FDN founder Reed Davis, FDN Mentors, and Special Guests to learn about functional lab testing and data-driven protocols to confidently solve health issues and grow your health coaching business.
