On the how floor at BlogWorld in Las Vegas, Vincent Everts of yubby.com discusses his new service that allow you to aggregate videos from over 30 video sharing sites. Yubby's capability of collecting videos based on a specific subject or keyword into your own channel and display them on your web site or blog leads to uses both obvious and not-so-obvious. Vincent explains how easy it is and why you'll want to start our own Yubby collections whether you are a video content creator, or are simply interested in gathering vidoes about a particular topic.

From the show floor at BlogWorld 2009, Dave Méndez of Shure reviews some of their microphone offerings for home recording. Whether you're planning on podcasting, or just looking to get better audio in your projects, Shure has options for you. David shows off their USB mics that have mixer capabilities built in, and the X2U XLR-to-USB Signal Adapter, their adapter to connect standard XLR mics to your Mac via USB. Dave also comments on why audio is a critical part of video, and why you need to consider where it will be used when making your buying decision.

Jean MacDonald was wearing two hats while attending BlogWorld in Las Vegas. The first was, as you would expect, representing SmileOnMyMac in their efforts to connect with bloggers and as a corporate blogger for the company. The second was as an "aunt blogger" (yes, Jean coined the term). Jean talks about both the challenges of the FCC's new ruling on disclosure for bloggers in general and mommy bloggers in particular. Some of SmileOnMyMac's products have received upgrades recently; Jean also discusses the new OCR engine in PDFPen, tweaks to take full advantage of Snow Leopard, the trend of partnerships among iPhone app developers and more.

From the show floor at BlogWorld and New Media Expo 2009 in Las Vegas, Todd Cochrane, the CEO of RawVoice talks about Blubrry PowerPress, their podcasting plugin for WordPress. PowerPress allows the WordPress user to integrade podcasts into their blog, including RSS and on-site play support. Todd also explains how the free PowerPress can be integrated with the other offerings from RawVoice, including advertising options.
