Chris also talks about what he posts to his Twitter feed and names some of his favorite iPad apps.

James Lee of Tropical Software shows off both the basics and the latest enhancements to their note-taking solution, TopXNotes. What's new is that it isn't just for the Mac any longer. TopXNotes lets you keep up with your notes on the iPhone and iPod touch, and soon will be native on the iPad. Jim describes their "cloudless sync" option, and why they opted for that method, issues you need to be aware of with any sync solution, and why the note application space is so varied.

Mark Fuccio, the Senior Director for Data Robotics discusses their experiences at Macworld 2010, and why they were so pleased with the results of their "Spirit of Macworld 2010" video contest. We show you the two videos that won their producers a Drobo S of their very own, and talk with Doug Chapin and Melody Akhtari about their winning submission, and how they were put together.

In our last Macworld 2010-themed show, we take a look back at a busy, fun and successful week, from the start at the Final Cut Pro SuperMeet to the end at a jazz restaurant with friends. In the Boinx Software booth at Macworld 2010, CEO Oliver Breidenbach shows off the new versions of FotoMagico and PhotoPresenter, talks about why BoinxTV, was so widely used to produce and deliver video at Macworld 2010, and teases us with some feature in the next version of the software, including a streaming feature from within the software.

From Macworld 2010, Peter Skinner of Ten One Design demonstrates Inklet, a Macworld Best-of-Show winner that turns the trackpad on your MacBook or MacBook Pro into a graphics tablet, suitable for sketching, creating and more. Software-based, Inklet lets you draw using many of your favorite graphics apps such as Photoshop rather than having to learn something new. Peter also shows off Pogo Sketch, a stylus for trackpads and touch screens that makes Inklet even more useful for finer, more detailed drawing.

In the Carina Software booth at Macworld 2010, Tim Debenedictis talks about the history of their astronomy software, Voyager, and how it has gone mobile as an iPhone app, SkyVoyager. The GPS and compass functions of the iPhone make it perfect for orienting yourself for nighttime observations, and SkyVoyager takes full advantage of that, providing a sky map of what is overhead from any position. Want more? SkyVoyager allows you to control your telescope from your iPhone via their SkyFi WiFi interface, access information about stellar objects and more.

In the Livescribe booth at Macworld 2010, Maureen Keating and Eric Petitt show off the latest enhancements to the Pulse Smartpen. How smart can a pen be? Eric takes us through both the basics, including both capturing notes and audio from whatever you are doing, transferring that information to your Mac and thirty apps that add even more functionality. New on the horizon is their iPhone app; Maureen explains how you can share Pulse Smartpen-generated materials to your iPhone via "pencasts," and take advantage of the iPhone interface to manipulate the data.

From the show floor at Macworld 2010, Doug Pelton of SelveServeApps explains how his company can help your small business develop an iPhone app. With various capabilities beyond the basics available, SelfServeApps makes the process approachable and affordable for anyone who wants an iPhone and iPod touch presence.

In the Other World Computing booth at Macworld 2010, Grant Dahlke shows the speed of their new EXTREME Enterprise solid-state drive by booting into all of the Adobe Creative Suite apps at once, and the durability of the device by beating it on a table. While speed comes at a price, if you need to go fast, you need to see this demo and hear Grant explain why their drive is a the top of the heap. (Don't try the durability test at home with your current drive; you won't like the results.)

At Macworld 2010, Satheesh Akkinepall of BeeJive shows how their app lets you stay in touch with your friends no matter what instant message service you (or they) prefer. BeeJive allows simultaneous presence on a wide variety of different services, takes advantage of all the rich media features of the various services, integrates push services if you want them, and more.

At Macworld 2010, Amada Erickson of Joby summarizes the many flavors of the Gorillapod, the adjustable, portable and versatile tripod device that lets you hang a camera, iPhone or iPod securely from virtually anything. More versatile and useful that you might initially think, Amanda explains that there is now a family of Gorillapod devices that include lights, magnetic feet and more.
