Backlash to unnecessary “reply all” emails got you nervous about what is worth telling everyone? Love gives good news with a call to response. Jesus said, “your sins are forgiven,” and people responded. Let’s talk about how we can live like Jesus and share His love.

Our good father, our Heavenly Father, gives us good gifts. He offers us a fresh start, unbroken personal relationship, provision, and the hope of heaven. “See how very much our Father loves us, for He calls us His children, and that is what we are!” 1 John 3:1

Our guest speaker, Glenda Malmin, walks with us along the story of Leah and her response to hurt and injustice. We can choose to stop (remember who we are in Christ), look to our Father God, Listen to His Words, and follow Him.

Let’s hear from Chris Vazquez, who leads our worship team. We may worship out of preference or deference. Our perspective and motive matter. Diversity in worship makes it beautiful and accessible.

We can be a “safe place” by praying for each other. “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.” 1 Timothy 2:1 Let’s talk about this important verse and how it works.

We can be a “safe place” by choosing to believe that God is alive, aware, able, & active in our lives and by building relationships where words of faith are spoken.

We can be a “safe place” by forgiving those who have wronged us and making a commitment to forgive those who may wrong us in the future. We choose to build a spiritual family where love and forgiveness are an essential part of who we are.

We can be a “safe place” for people to “find and follow Jesus” if we choose to love. God’s love is faithful, patient, kind, and selfless. We can love each other in this way.

How can we be a “Safe place” for people to find and follow Jesus? Let’s talk about one of our Core Values (you know something that if you took it away, we wouldn’t still be use). This Sunday is Part One – God: our relationship with God makes us a safe place.

This Easter we reflect on the miracle of Jesus’ resurrection and the message it brings. “There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.”

As we approach Easter, we read the accounts of a few of the miracles Jesus performed. From this we learn more about the way that God likes to work a wonder and how we can be involved.

Gathering with other believers to worship God with all we’ve got, out loud, is a priority expression of our Thank You.

We can make a home in God’s love. We can live out of a “Thank You”, a love response to God. His love gives action.
