As we turn to the story of the people who first followed Jesus, we are looking at what it means to be a “church”. This week we see a commitment to a few essential activities, despite difficulty.

What is a church? What does it mean to be part of a church? How can I belong? How can I be part of this church family? “Church” is “new” people following Jesus together. Let’s look at the story of the people who first followed Jesus.

What does Jesus’ resurrection accomplish? Jesus’ death and resurrection were needed to free us from our sin, from certain punishment, and separation from God. Through it we are clean, free, and able to enjoy God in our live here and in an eternal Heaven.

Why did Jesus have to die? What does His death accomplish? Let’s look at the profound meaning of what we celebrate this week of Easter.

Does God love me? What is God’s purpose for my life? How do I figure out my “calling”? Let’s talk about it. You just may find it to be surprisingly simple.

If God created me by design, how do I figure out what my calling is? Let’s start with the Designer and His plan. The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.

God created you. God loves you. God has purpose for your life. 2 Timothy 1:9 helps us see that we are created by design, saved, called, and graced. Oh this is going to be good! And we’re going to be talking about peanuts and road trips.

How do I share my faith? How do I talk about the Good News of Jesus? This Sunday we look at this practical aspect of following Jesus in His, “seek and save”.

How do we follow Jesus in His “seek & save” mission? Sharing your story is a personal and powerful way to join in. Pastor Ben shares the story of proposing to Rebecca.

How do we follow Jesus in this, “seek and save”? On this Super Bowl Sunday, we kick off our Life Groups and take a look at how we relate to not-yet-believers.

What happens when you get what you wanted and it’s not good enough? We celebrate our fifth anniversary as a church with a look at Jesus’ call to Zacchaeus, from Luke 19:1-10. We learn about our purpose as individuals, and as a church.

Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr said, “To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.” Martin Luther, The Reformer, wrote a letter to his barber about how to pray. That brings us to look at The Lord’s Prayer.

“Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” Hagar said in Genesis 16:13. From her response to injustice we learn about ways that we can pray.

How do we respond to Jesus’ call that we, “seek first”? What impact does that have upon the way that we start 2016? Pastor Ben walks us through an explanation of our three weeks of prayer focus, January 4th-24th, this year.

Take time to be quiet and consider if you have sin that you need to repent of, bad memories that you need to let go of, hurt that needs healing, or anger that needs forgiveness.
