In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven

[sorry - I know I say Philippians - it should be Ephesians!] For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
