His responsibilities and influence both in the weight room and on the field remain constant throughout the entire year.  Since 2006, New Orleans has put together 11 winning streaks of three games or more, including a franchise-record 13-game win streak in 2009 and a five-game run to start the 2013 campaign. 15 players have been selected to the Pro Bowl during his tenure, 11 for the first time in their careers.  He was named as the recipient of the Cybex Professional Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year award by the Professional Football Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society and the Samson Strength and Conditioning NFL Coach of the Year award from American Football Monthly.Prior to joining the Saints, Dalrymple spent the previous 17 seasons in a similar capacity at Miami University (Ohio), including the last 16 as director of athletic conditioning, a program he built from its foundation.  He was promoted with the additional title of assistant athletic director in 2003. At Miami, he was a coaching colleague of Saints Head Coach Sean Payton from 1994-95.Dalrymple has been certified by the National Strength Conditioning Association since 1991 and has been honored as a finalist for the organization’s coach of the year in 1995, 1997, 1999, 2003 and 2006. He’s one of only three NFL coaches in his field to be certified by the Collegiate Strength Conditioning Coaches Association as a Master Strength Conditioning Coach.  Dalrymple has earned two certifications for USAWeightlifting that designate him as qualified to work with athletes in Olympic weightlifting and as a sports performance specialist.A 1988 graduate of Miami, Dalrymple was a four-year starter (1983-86) as an offensive lineman and was a first-team All-MAC selection his final two seasons, also earning honorable mention All-America accolades. He was one of three captains of the 1986 conference champion team. Dalrymple was later honored as one of five linemen on the Cincinnati Enquirer’s All-20th Century Miami football team and was elected to the school’s Hall of Fame in 2002.After his college career and attending training camp with the Seattle Seahawks, Dalrymple returned to his alma mater as a student assistant coach in 1987. He served as a graduate assistant the following year before being promoted to offensive line and strength coach in 1989. David Tenney enters his first season as Sports Science Performance Manager after spending the previous five seasons as fitness coach. He is one of Major League Soccer’s most respected and progressive minds in sports science.Tenney implemented the Catapult GPS pro- gram which measures player movement in games and practices, as well as the Omegawave technology that tests player’s heart rate variability and state of readiness before and after participation.Prior to joining Sounders FC, Tenney served as both fitness and goalkeeper coach in Kansas City in 2007 and 2008, helping the Wizards reach the post- season both years. Kansas City reached the Conference Finals in 2007. He also holds an ‘A’ license from the Czech Republic F.A. and NSCAA 'Premier' Diploma.Prior to MLS, Tenney held the same dual role with the George Mason University men’s and women’s teams for two seasons. In 2006, Mason advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 12 years.While at George Mason, Tenney also served as director of coaching for the Washington Freedom youth teams from 2004-06 and as Maryland’s girls director of ODP, winning two ODP National Championships (2005 and 2006). Tenney’s playing career features both collegiate and indoor profes- sional honors. At Virginia Tech (1989-91), he served as team captain the final two seasons. As the Hokies’ goalkeeper, he was voted Metro Conference Defensive MVP in 1989.His professional career began overseas with Germany’s SV Linx (1992-93) and FC Rastatt (1993-94). He returned home to play for the Washington Warthogs of the Continental Indoor Soccer League from 1994-97 and held franchise records for saves, wins and minutes played for goal- keepers. He was with the Baltimore Blast of the NPSL from 1998-2000 and also starred for the Baton Rouge Bombers, earning second team All-EISL in 1998. Tenney is married to Allison, who is an assistant coach of the Seattle University women’s soccer team. They have two daughters, Quinn, and Cameron. He served as both a student assistant and a full-time assistant working for a well-recognized pioneer of the Strength and Conditioning profession, Boyd Epley; whom he considers a great mentor. At Nebraska, Jost earned his bachelors degree in exercise science with an emphasis in strength and conditioning in 1990, and his masters in Education Administration with an emphasis in post-secondary athletic administration in 1994.In 1994, Coach Jost was hired as the first Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Holy Cross, where from the ground up, he developed and successfully implemented a comprehensive program, servicing all 23 athletic department teams.In 1996, Jost accepted the opportunity to become the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for Southern Methodist University. Previously with the Cleveland Browns from 2002-05 where he worked with current Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians, Morris is back in the NFL after working at the collegiate level for 19 years.A native of South Park, PA, Morris has an extensive background in strength and conditioning dating back to his first job at his alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh, where he began his coaching career in 1980 in the first of his three stints with the Panthers. He worked under head coach Jackie Sherrill from 1980-89 and aided in the development of future NFL Hall of Famers Dan Marino, Rickey Jackson, Chris Doleman, and Russ Grimm. During that period, Morris helped train 13 first round NFL draft picks and 15 first-team All-Americans.After working as the wellness director for the Horizon Hospital System in Sharon, PA from 1989-97, Morris went back to Pittsburgh and worked from 1997-2001. During his second tenure at Pitt, the Panthers made three bowl appearance, the 1997 Liberty Bowl, the 2000 Insight.com Bowl and the 2001 Tangerine Bowl. Morris also developed the moniker for the Panthers strength and conditioning program, "The Pitt Iron Works." In 2009, Muscle Fitness Magazine name Morris' gym one of the 10 toughest in America.Morris then joined Butch Davis and the Cleveland Browns for three seasons before working at the University of Buffalo in 2006 as its Director of Sports Performance. After one season in Buffalo, Morris went back for his third stint at Pitt under head coach Dave Wannstedt where he worked from 2007-10. The Panthers qualified for the 2008 Sun Bowl and the 2009 Meineke Car Care Bowl during that period.Following his third stop at Pitt, Morris and his family opened a private gym in Buffalo called the New York Sports Center where he worked with athletes at all levels through personal training, group fitness classes, and injury rehabilitation.Morris worked with Roger Kingdom, the Cardinals assistant strength conditioning coach and 1984 and 1988 Olympic gold medalist in 110-meter hurdles. He also helped develop NFL Hall of Fame running back Curtis Martin and Pro Bowl guard Ruben Brown while both were at Pitt.He graduated from Pittsburgh in 1980 after lettering for four years (1977-80) in track and field. He has been active as a weightlifting and strength conditioning coach for more than thirty-five years. Among Hatch's many accomplishments are memberships in both the USA Weightlifting and USA Strength and Conditioning Coaches Halls of Fame and he served as Head Coach of the men's 2004 USA Olympic Weightlifting.  Hatch's club, the Gayle Hatch Weightlifting Team, has a tradition rich program that has won 53 USA Men's Weightlifting National Championships. Coach Hatch has also had athletes make three United States Olympic Teams, and 12 World Teams. He has had more than 50 athletes selected to other U.S. international teams. Coach Hatch is considered one of the pioneers of Olympic-style strength training in this country.  He is the inventor of the "Hatch System" and his philosophies have been utilized in recent years by strength coaches at LSU, Alabama, Florida State, Miami, USC and Tennessee. These football teams won a total of 8 BCS National championships. Brijesh Patel is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Quinnipiac University. Patel primarily works with the men’s and women’s basketball and ice hockey teams at Quinnipiac, but also oversees the strength and conditioning development for all 21 varsity sports at Quinnipiac. Patel previously held the title of Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusets and was a Graduate Assistant at the University of Conneticut. Patel graduated with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology in 2002 and a master's degree in sport management in 2004 from the University of Connecticut. He has written and spoken for numerous industry publications and seminars. Patel holds certifications from the NSCA, USA Weightlifting, and the Red Cross and is also SPIN certified.
