When my publicist sent me a request from an author to write a piece on love and forgiveness and healing, I was delighted as it is a core interest of mine. Who is there on the planet not needing to think about that?  I wrote, she read. She liked it and then requested an interview. The interview took place over about 90 minutes as I drove across the plaines of Illinois -- gorgeous drive through pretty countryside. By the time we were concluding, I invted her to let me turn the tables and have her on the show to allow me to interview her. This talented young lady has a bright mind, engaing personality and big heart that is filled with kindess. You absolutely must tune in and hear what we have to talk about!

Shameful that this occurs anywhere on the planet. The kindness of compassionate people means that there is a rescue operation in place for housing those who are victimized and getting them healed from their journey of terror. Sounds awful, I know, but there are glorious, positive outcomes.

Larry Shapiro has had a successful career as a clincial child psychologist and also as one who works with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in adults, especially our veterans. Excellent work. However, perhaps his most fascinating and impactful efforts have been durting his time as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.  He is highly invested in behavioral fninance. It ameks perfect sense. The topic of money and our overal fiscal well being is something that touches each of us. Tune in and get a dose of helpful information and insight.

Remembrances are amongst the kindest of acts that we can engage in. Especially when we experience loss, it is important to remember what it is we had, what we valued, what meant so much. Too often, I find people shrink back and turn away, they avert their attentions in another direction because they fear it will be too sad, too painful, too difficult. I disagree. It is with loss we learn appreciation and how to instill hope and trust and joy into each moment and every experience. Join me.....as I remember.

Fireman Tom, he was first my cousin. I was the youngest of all the kids and he was, alongside my 3 other boy cousins, a big and strong role model of kindness and comedy. He grew up to be a Chicago Fireman. To me, a real life hero. I heard stories of his heroism frequently. To know him now is a treat. I continue to disocver his humility and intellect and kindness every time we talk. Join in and get inspired. He has not lived a charmed life but he is a charming guy --- Chicago style.
