There are two distinctively different definitions for alignment—both have significant spiritual implications. First of all, alignment refers to arrangement in a straight line, or in correct position. Secondly, alignment refers to a position of agreement or alliance. If you want to be in the correct position to receive favor and blessing from the Lord, you have to align your priorities with God’s word!

Our enemy is not easily distinguishable. If you don’t know much about him, you may not realize he is at work, but he certainly is. Masking himself as an angel of light, he fights with subtle mistruths, discouragements and defeats. Strategic, strong and sinister he aims his fiery arrows at us in hopes of our demise. But lucky for us, we have weapons that prepare us for a guaranteed victory.

In Ruth chapter 3, Naomi gave Ruth instructions to prepare to meet her bridegroom. She was preparing to devote her life to Him in the same way we are devoting ourselves to God through fasting.

Are you content where you are? Or do you believe there’s more? I believe there’s more! Matthew 6:18 makes clear that what you do in secret, God rewards openly. When you devote yourself to Him in prayer and fasting privately, He changes things for you outwardly. God will bless you and give you favor among men.

If there was ever a time to be passionate about our beliefs, it is now. We must unify as the body of Christ and stand up for what the Word of God says. We are living in days like never before. Where the Word of God is disregarded to remain politically correct. We must love everyone, regardless of their choices, but we cannot forsake the truth of Gods Word. Your voice counts, use it! 

Are you in the silent majority? Four million. That’s how many evangelical Christians did NOT vote in the last presidential election. You may think ONE individual vote doesn’t make a difference—but 4,000,000 individuals can determine an election.

Faith is a journey led by hearing. And often, it’s not in loud, audible shouts. But rather, a soft, still small voice in the heart of every believer. It becomes audible as we dedicate ourselves to prayer and praise in every situation. The times we live in are unlike ever before. We are seeing worldwide crisis on a daily basis. From terrorist attacks, hate crimes, racism and natural disasters, it is hard not to be discouraged. Our eyes would tell us there is much to be disheartened with. Our eyes would tell us to quit, give up or disengage. But sometimes fact and truth is not the same thing.

We are in this world, but we are not of this world. No matter what you may see going on around you, close your eyes and listen with your heart - there in lies a greater truth. For we walk by faith, not by sight.
