Whatever's trying to keep you down; it was defeated on Calvary. Any addiction, any sin, any bondage in your life; Jesus took it on at Calvary for you. And when He finished on the cross, He became our substitute. Jesus came to fight my battle. He came to fight your battle. And he won.

There is an urgency attached to the Gospel. As believers, we hold the keys to eternity. We know The Truth that will set people free. We know that Jesus is the ONLY way to eternal salvation. Romans 10:14 says, "how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him?" It’s our job to share the Gospel. It’s our job to proclaim the Good News. When we stay quiet, we are like the one who doesn't “hold back those stumbling to the slaughter” (Proverbs 24 :11). Our silence is the greatest crime we could ever commit. And it’s one for which we will be held responsible.

John 10:10 tells us the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. The enemy’s methods have been the same from the beginning of time. He subtly takes truths and ever so slightly tweaks them into lies. Sex is not immune to these lies. We need to guard our marriages with the belt of truth and go on the offense to protect them. When is the last time you went out of your way to sweep your spouse off their feet? Here’s a thought, schedule a babysitter. Take them out on the town! Wives, when your husband gets home from work, smack a big old kiss on him for no reason! Be spontaneous! It may take a little more effort these days, but isn’t it worth it? From Moses to Elijah, the disciples to Paul, and even Jesus Himself, we see God delighting in the masculinity of men.
