Honestly, we didn’t know if we would see the day that marriage equality would happen in the US, sadly it still isn’t here in Australia, but we talk about it as well as what other things we might get to see in our lifetimes.  Also discussed is what popular comedians we don’t personally find funny (comedy is subjective) and what companies we hope NEVER go out of business. Plus a new angle has been thrown into our Trivia game and it causes the balances of power to flux!  It’s a nail biter!  Check it out!

Catchphrases.  We all want one, we all think we have one, but do we really have one that is good enough for a t-shirt.  These are the kinds of tough questions we answer this week on the Hot Steaming Pod.  Join Joe, Biggy, Alana, and Scott as they talk about catchphrases, discuss Obama on WTF with Marc Maron and what big guest we would like on the pod, as well as the worse “Would You Rather” questions. It’s 101!  We are kicking off the next 100 episodes with trying to come up with our own catchphrases, figureing out what the best tributes will be to us once we die, and playing Trivia about all things that happened in 2001.  Texas Joe Shaffer, Alana Shootingstar, Biggy P, and Scott Black are ready to down a cup of steaming hot coffee and talk up this steaming hot pod!

Wow.  Just wow!  100 episodes!  If we were a TV show we would start getting that sweet sweet syndication money.  We are a podcast, which just means that next week we do it again.  However, this week we pause to look over the last 99 episodes and the people that were with us on the journey.  Alana, Biggy, Scott and special guests Phil M. and Joe Shaffer talk about their favorite bits from the show thus far.  There are also some classic bits, messages from past us that we recorded for this episode 20 weeks ago and a whole lot of fun. Can you believe that we have been going for 99 episodes? With just this one before 100 we just want to thank you all for your support. It means so much to us.  We thank you by giving you our best with special guest Texas Joe Shaffer and the wildest trivia game this side of 1999.

We have had big shows before but never this big!  A full crew and not one, not two, but three special guests?!?!  It’s a massive Hot Steaming Pod with special guest comedians Laura Davis (@lauradaviscomic), Texas Joe Shaffer (@TexasJoeShaffer), and Jacob Lingard (@JacobLingard)!  Add that to the already brimming over with comedy of Alana Shootingstar (@aj_shoots), host Scott Black (@latenitemedia) and the musical talents of Biggy P (@therealbiggyp) and you have a podcast that is at the limits, daddy!  Dusty Rhodes would be proud. Packed house and an over the top trivia game that brings up the best of 1998 and you have a show that must be had while it’s hot!

Biggy is out because of something he ate, but in his place jumps the champion of alternative comedy, Jacob Lingard (@JacobLingard)!  The gang talk about drunken times, as Alana and Jacob are slightly hungover, as well as being ill and what thy do to make themselves feel better.  Also, what celebrity would they take into a bar fight and their worst “caught with their pants down” moment.  The trivia this week is all about the music, films, television and news items of the year 1997.  FIRST SHOUT(Round) IS ON US!

Disney characters getting their smackdown on, naked jobs, and the best way to tell someone to eff off in the nicest way are just some en of the topics discussed in this episode. Plus trivia of 1996 pop culture.  It gets real.

Alana is back from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Biggy is out sick. But we have special guest comedian Texas Joe Shaffer filling in! In this episode we talk the new trailers, geek out a bit and play some amazing trivia! The topics this week are Switzerland and the films “Shaolin Soccer” and “Anchorman!” Get it while it’s hot!
