The Price of a Free and Fair Election marks the fortieth episode of the Scandal Fan Podcast!  *Blows bubbles* What a marvelous time this past year has been.   I am looking forward to continuing with the team in season four and I am of course going to miss our lively debates and conversations but this episode of Scandal Podcast did not disappoint!  I am happy to have worked with them to bring you all a great podcast.  Thank you for that A-Team and B-Side.  This episode we are going in! In this case the CDC traced it to a sub-strain that's kept under lock and key at Fort Deitrich. Apparently a vial of it went missing this week. Fitz: My son was murdered? I was impressed with Abby's tenacity even when faced with the uncooperative staff members at the White House, which of course includes Fitz.  Loved Olivia's scene with Andrew and Mellie's uncharacteristic loss of control in front of others when she slapped the tar out of Fitz. You sent her to me in your place...What is that? Olivia: I'm here now. What do you need? Fitz: I want Andrew Nichols off the ticket. Olivia: We're not taking Andrew off the ticket. Fitz: I want a list of new VPs picks on my desk by the morning. Olivia: You're not getting a new VP. Fitz: I am NOT running with that son of... Olivia: You knock Andrew off the ticket now...it's an amateur move. It's too late, it'll ruin you. You picked him. He's your guy. Too bad for you, he stays on the ticket. What else do you need? *In my honest opinion this was the best episode of Scandal to date.  I am kind of surprised Olivia comes from such cold blooded stock but still not surprised at the same time.  I know, right.  Such a conflict.  However there are the times where I feel that the reason she's so determined to "fix" things is that she can't fix the one thing she really wanted --her parents.  First a mother who supposedly died and then a father who's just emotionally unavailable.  I said it this podcast, seems more like emotional rape when she goes to him and he just...well we all know what he does.  But this episode, Langstan and I (resident B Team members) are joined by a special guest, Rodimus Prime from The Black Guy Who Tips Podcast.  Check out the show, I hope you enjoy it.  - Jaha 3 Favorite moments of  Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang Rowan Pope's Speech Olivia: I don't know, what the point is of this.  Of democracy, of freedom of evil.  If everyone I know is a monster, what is the point? The responsibility of that it marks me, it stains me, it never leaves me.  So whatever you think of Jake, however you want to punish him...being the Hand of God is already the worst punishment in the world. And there is, incidentally a point. If there are no more white hats and if the deck is always stacked, and if everyone you love is a monster there is in fact someone worth saving. Olivia: Who? Everyone, everyone is worth saving, even the monsters and even the demons.  Everyone is worth saving. In the face of darkness, you drag everyone into the light.  That is the point. Mellie was showing her booty cheeks to Olivia on this episode, but what else is new.  Since Olivia has decided to work for the Grant campaign, she's been thrown some serious shade.  Almost to the point that she needs to walk in a constant shadow.  I hope she gets her mojo back soon because even in the pic, you can see that the cordial tone Mellie wanted to spark for the paparazzi and news outlets is patently false.  Then the doozy…the folder of 'eligibles' she hands Olivia.  #Messy The Ride, Sally Ride Episode Three highlights from the Ride Sally, Ride episode Katrina:  First Adnan Saleef is a woman!  Everytime they referred to Adnan Saleef, they never used a pronoun; we all just assumed Adnan was a man.  Sally being on television basically saying"and I'm telling you... and Mellie walking in on Olivia and Fitz. She [Olivia] didn't even bother to look embarrassed, she was like, "need something?" Elde'a: Rowan in the park, James and David and the second scene with Sally when she talks about the devil made her do it. Olivia: Door open, door closed, Olivia's meeting with Papa Pope.  She was trying to show compassion for him and basically he was like, take your compassion and get on the next greyhound, get out of town and James.  He was always portrayed as not having a back bone and being weak. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWYMuPgDedc Favorite character the Ride, Sally Ride Episode Elde'a: I didn't really have one but when Katrina and Olivia were talking about Fitz and Andrew angle.  It's Fitz, he meant when he said to her, I'm not going to let you go, I don't want you to leave.  Least favorite character was Quinn, because of the baby. Olivia: It was very difficult for me to pick an MVP this episode. I kinda went with Fitz. I like to see him throwing ish and being insolent. My least favorite was Quinn, Sally and Leo.  Everytime they came on the screen it was like I was playing duck hunt.  Sally is usually my least favorite.  There's nothing about that lady that I like on that show.  When she starts talking...(must see the video to understand).  Quinn lost me when she kidnapped the kid.  It bothered me because she's out here committing crimes when she's not even a part of B6-13. Katrina: It was a toss up between Leo and David.  I really enjoyed David this episode.  I loved his conversation with Harrison.  It's you're butler here.  Can I get you anything else?
