UNW Chapel

Nina Barnes, Dean of Spiritual Formation, leads a panel discussion with the Spiritual Formation Team with the goal of setting a foundation for in spiritual formation for the school year. The team reflects and shares the ways in which they have experienced the desire to become more like Christ. 

Micah Witham, Lead Pastor of Awaken Church, discusses several aspects regarding serving and missional living as a part of Week of Prayer and Service.

Dr. Dale Gentry, Associate Professor of Biology & Biochemistry at UNW, speaks on the topic of creation stewardship as a part of Week of Prayer & Service.

UNW staff member Courtney Bobko kicks off Week of Prayer & Service by sharing her experiences with listening prayer. Courtney describes listening prayer as time spent not only talking to the Lord but also listening for His response.

Internationally known artist, Makoto Fujimura, who was recently appointed Director of Fuller Theological Seminary's Brehm Center, shares a few of his paintings and reflects upon the biblical meanings behind them in UNW chapel. Makoto is a prolific writer, noted author, speaker, and presidential appointee. 

Jonathan Parnell, lead pastor of Cities Church in St. Paul, teaches on three aspects of Jesus seen in Philippians 2:3-11: His incarnation, humiliation, and resurrection. 

Dan Lukas, Creative Director at Five Oaks Church, reflects on John 12, when Mary ministers to Jesus through the cleansing of his feet. 

Student Life staff members Jenna Thompson, Keith Anderson, and Nina Barnes share their reflections of people found within the passion story of Christ as he journeys to the cross. 

UNW staff and students share their journey with seasons of suffering through Scripture, story, and song as a part of Holy Week. 

Dr. W. Edward Glenny, Professor New Testament and Greek at UNW, begins Holy Week with a message from Luke 19.

UNW alum, Jake and Sarah Larson, reflect on their own experiences and speak on navigating differences in healthy and fruitful ways throughout the Christian community. 

Former BET anchor, author, and speaker, Cheryl Martin, encourages the UNW community to seek after and cultivate God's plan for their lives.

Dan Prusinski, UNW alum, speaks from Matthew 9:36-38 and shares his journey as a Senior Business Partner at Target Corporation as a part of Ministry in the Marketplace Week. 

Student Alaina Mathias shares a part of her testimony and encourages the UNW community from 1 Peter 1:15.
