Guest: Sammy Wegent (www.twitter.com/SpeechlessShow) of Speechless and Jamie Wright (www.twitter.com/LekkerMedia) of Lekker Media. Both Wegent and Wright are heavily involved in producing corporate comedy for their respective businesses. Speechless is an improvised PowerPoint presentation on a random subject with slides that neither the speaker nor audience has seen. With a clicker in their hand, the presenter needs to begin their presentation with zero presentation and no knowledge of what they'll see next. Shel Holtz (www.twitter.com/shelholtz), Principal for Holtz Communication + Technology, returns from the first episode of the Tear Down Show to discuss with us what he's calling "the quiet explosion," or the success of audio content and distribution as an effective content marketing technique. Everyone points to videos, photos, and articles as being the most valuable forms of media for content marketing. But unbeknownst to most people, there's this network of audio programs that are becoming very popular and being heard all over the country, even on public radio stations thanks to the Public Radio Exchange, or PRX. Richard Hart (www.twitter.com/NextStepTV) is the co-founder of the multimedia department at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He was the co-host of Evening Magazine in San Francisco, but also he was the host of a variety of technology shows, such as The Next Step on The Discovery Channel, and various programs on CNET TV. We spoke to Hart about how he's training many of tomorrow's broadcasters, or really netcasters across all media. In the first half of the show, Michael and David discuss: -Would you use a phone watch? -BitLit - Get ebooks of books you already own -Amazon creating a lot of resentment in the book world -YouTube Creator Series - Informing YouTube producers on what they're working on next. Like Google Labs, but for YouTube. -Michael's XBOX360 died, and he just bought another one. -Watch one of the worst 80s sitcoms, "We Got it Made." Lots of episodes available on YouTube.
