The Iowa City Downtown District presents a public introduction to the next iteration of University of Iowa Credit Union's BenchMarks project. This presentation outlines the changes happening for BenchMarks 2.0 and serves as an introduction to the conceptual and community framework for participants, past artists, and the general public by creative lead, John Engelbrecht. The presentation features information on how the project will run, how people and organizations can be involved, and the visual aesthetic of the project. BenchMarks is open to any community member who would like to participate. Artistic content of the project will be developed through three all-ages workshops to be held on April 28, May 12, and May 19. Iowa Youth Writing Project and Public Space ONE will facilitate the workshops in a manner that bridges age divisions, artistic talent, and creative input.
