The Willie Lawson Show

Today's show is a show that encourages conservatives to resist half-truths, lies and enuendo.  Many conservatives dislike president Obama and the current crop of politicians so much that they participate in, share, encourage, or even create, bits of information that are untrue, half-truths, and rumor in an attempt to show Obama or the current group of politicains in the worse light possible. I think that in 2015, if we are interested in returning to the kind of government we keep saying we want.  We conservatives must start being the kind of people we say we want in office. We must be people that are ones willing to live in our truth.  We must be willing to tell the truth about ones we oppose politically.  We must be willing to understand the reality of our situation. Today's show may be challenging for some of us, but I think that it is the first step toward what must happen to improve our nation.

Renaissance- Re-Birth.  2014 was the year of Recovery as I recovered from my triple bypass surgery.  2015 represents the year of re birth. I feel I have been given a second chance at life and it it time to finally do all of the things that God has given me the ability to do.  Today I will map out the plan for the next couple of years and where we are going to be at the end of 2016. So this is Christmas. Today is our Christmas show.  A day to be thankful for God's gift of health,life and strength.  A day to thank each of my listeners for all that they have meant to me and to the show. And to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Well, its not not surprising, but it it is sad and horrible. The current anti-authority(police) climate has turned into an even more dangerous climate for police officers. Today I willie will not spend time assigning blameto individuals but explaining the bigger picture and offering much needed solutions.

President Obama give gift to Castro and screws the Cuban people. Hillary Clinton "ain;t no ways tires!" #blacklivesmatter. Sony decided not to release the movie "The Interview" in theaters due to threats from hackers.

I am about done with conservative "partriots" that continually whine, bitch and complain.  They have nor had the guns confiscated, nor have they suffered and unwatnted invasion by federal authorities in their home. None of the crap they talk about has happened, but they are indeed ready to move to a private island. Really those founding fathers you so often mention did not have one ounce of quit in them. Even in the worst of circumstances, they fought on. But if there is a bill passed in congress, you are through?

Based on a conversation I had with Jason from California, today we take on pop culture's assualt on the urban community.  Do the images, sounds, and directves of pop culture have a negative effect on Blacks in the urban community. Who are those pulling the strings and writing the checks of the dominant media culture? Are these people responsible for what we see on our big screen tlevisions and on the streets of our communities? Now, none of this relieves the individual of their responsibilty however this opens the door to the question of how and why.

A common hastag on twitter lately is #blacklivesmatter.  Funny when the orginization that has killed more Black people than the police and the Ku Klux Klan feels confident enough to join the discussion and use that hashtag, Planned Parenthood.  Why does this not outrage us? It is not how we feel that should empower us to action but what are reality is.  Planned Parenthood is an organization designed and founded to destroy Black People. Why do we continue to support and protect organizations and entities in our community sent ther to destroy it? Why do we not march on city hall when the politicians we elect do nothing for years and years to improve te conditions of the urban communities but instead, offer up excuse after excuse for their failure?  When we will learn that #allivesmatter? The lives of familes, The lives of straight A students in failing schools.  The lives of store keepers that operate behind bars and bullet proof glass every day just to make a living.  When will we act like those lives matter too?

If it isn't it should apparent to any red-blooded conservative that the current conservative/Republican infrastructure is not sufficient to move the message of conservatism any farther than it is right now.  It is time to build a new infrastructure that is willing to move into new areas in news ways to touch new people.  A very important aspect of this infrastructure is media.  Current Republicans are, and for good reason, afraid of the liberal media spin on anything that they don't like. We have to understand that the bully pulpit is controled by media sources that are not friendly to the conservative cause.  And they broadcast to every corner of the world 24/7.  The only ways to combat that media machine is to buy them, fire everyon there and replace them with journalists, not activists. The report on CIA enhanced intoerogation methods came out yesterday. Just in time for the deal that is being cut conserning the continuing resolution. That some how  report on activities from 2005 are still important insults the most clueless of us.  Andrea Mitchell on the the TV this morning saying  "as this debate rages on.." I have not heard nere mention of this in more than 4 years, and I am one of the people that is paying attention. We are going to have encourage ourselves and each other to tunnel through the nonsense and stay focused on the important items of the week.  A 1.1 trillion dollar CR that may indeed fund the president's executive actions on immigration.  Say chilly my friends.

Some liberals are running around pretending to be sorry for their participation in any wrong-doings done to American Blacks by their ancestors.  This is the most racist and insulting things yet, from the White liberal aristocracy. That you would think simply wearing a t-shirt with "I'm Sorry" on would be able to calm the pain and hurt of entire race of people in this nation.  Wearing that shirt while living in your parent's home behind those gates simply makes things alright. Do you think I am child?  That you can say you're sorry and make everything all better?  And why should accept an apology from you?  What have you done to me and what can you do to keep it from happening again?
