Todd Henry on Intrepid Radio! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 27:30

I've now interviewed 33 guests on the relatively young Intrepid Radio show...and rarely have I enjoyed a guest more. Todd Henry is the author of the new book The Accidental Creative: How To Be Brilliant At A Moment's Notice, published just last week. So, it was a lot of fun to talk creativity and design with Todd. We talked about how we both believe all business people are, in fact, creatives, but that most people don't act that way. Or that too many work environments don't empower their people to be creative. We discussed the concept of being creative on demand. The book will be helpful in showing you how to make the small, day-to-day behavioral changes you need to make in order to be brilliant at a moment's notice. And how to get into a creative rhythm. Consuming meaningful content, instead of watching Jersey Shore, helps too. So, if you are creative...meaning you solve problems, work with customers, are on the innovation team, part of the marketing and sales teams...you need this book. Hope you enjoy our conversation! Check out the book's promotional video: The Accidental Creative: How To Be Brilliant at a Moment's Notice from Accidental Creative on Vimeo.  Randy Gage on Intrepid Radio! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 27:50

A fun, but meaningful, diversion from the usual offering on Intrepid Radio: pleased to welcome Randy Gage to the show! Randy Gage helps people crush their limiting beliefs to achieve a life of prosperity. From here, Randy writes, speaks, and teaches you how to achieve abundance. On the broadcast, Randy explains that we are ALL born to be rich, and discussed the importance of belief. He and I discussed how so many people get trapped into a life they hate, living paycheck to paycheck. Randy shares basic steps one can take to live a life of abundance, and how he moved from failure to success. We also talked about the common phenomenon where people read a book, watch a speech, get motivated...but then let that inspiration fade. Randy explains how to combat that. Finally, Randy shares his secrets for generating meaningful content on his blog, day after day... It was a fun interview, and made me realize the little things we can do to live an abundant life... ### [join my free intrepid newsletter] [subscribe to the blog feed] [subscribe to my podcast via iTunes]

Duct Tape Marketing’s John Jantsch on Intrepid Radio! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 23:35

As I said on the broadcast, I launched this show to enable me to connect with people like John Jantsch, of Duct Tape Marketing. I've been learning from John since I launched Intrepid over four years ago. It was a pleasure to visit with him. To launch the show, John talked about how he started Duct Tape Marketing, why he named it Duct Tape, and explained how his Duct Tape Consulting Network works. He shared the most common mistake that most small business people make, and explained the importance of implementing the Duct Tape marketing system. We discussed his most recent book, The Referral Engine. Referrals are a critical component in generating new business for most small business, but yet most small businesses have no process in place to maximize and encourage more referrals, and this is the main reason John wrote the book. John and I talked about the importance of podcasting for small business people, as a content-generator, means of increasing referrals, and as a prospecting strategy. Finally, John reported what he says to small business people who remain uncertain about social media, and how they will suffer without it. I've had the pleasure to interview a lot of amazing sales leaders on this show. And then there's Jill Konrath...  Mike Brown On Intrepid Radio: The Brainzooming Episode! | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 24:43

Episode 22 of Intrepid Radio may go down as my favorite so far. Brainzooming's Mike Brown and I, in fact, may have launched a discussion topic that will likely require multiple appearances to continue the debate... Gotta love it when we use Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band as a basis for a conversation about innovation verses creativity. Mike, the founder of Brainzooming, and I centered our conversation around creativity. We discussed why so many struggle with creativity, how to work around creative blocks, how to build a company culture that fosters creativity, and thus innovation. We also talked a bit about the importance of strategic thinking, which in my opinion, is a creative process. But we had a scintillating conversation about the differences between creativity and innovation... More to come on this idea. Stay tuned to Intrepid Radio. Mike will be back soon to continue our discussion(s)... ### [join my free intrepid newsletter] [subscribe to the blog feed] [subscribe to my podcast via iTunes]
