Relationships like all other living and breathing things evolve over time. What is sexual energy?  On a biological level it is energy that causes certain chemicals to be released in the body prior to orgasm, at the point of orgasm and after orgasm.   These include dopamine, which is related to desire; oxytocin, which is typically considered the feel-good hormone, relaxing you and decreasing your pain level; and vasopressin, which is believed to affect one's desire to bond with another and form a monogamous relationship.  And having sex has been scientifically proven to extend your lifetime when in a healthy, monogamous relationship.  Therefore, the biological aspects of the energy of sex are exceptionally important. BUT, there is a far greater par of sexual energy than just the biological aspect.  We are all made up of energy.  Everything around you is made up of energy in one form or another.  When you make love with your partner you increase the amount of energy flowing through your body and circling around you.  At the point of orgasm you blend your energetic bodies, which are your spiritual bodies.  This can open a doorway to the spiritual dimension.  It can direct through practice and intention to magnetize things into your life.  It can also be used as a source of energy healing-after all sex is the life force.
