All About Windows Phone Insight Podcast

In episode 60 of the AAWP Insight, Podcast Rafe and Ewan start by talking about the forthcoming Instagraph, a third party app that aims to enable posting to Instagram from a Windows Phone device. That prompts a discussion on Facebook Home and service layers, which leads to a discussion of HTC Q1 2013 interim financial numbers. There also time for a 40th birthday party and the usual app picks.

Episode 59 of the AAWP Insight Podcast, hosted by Ewan and Rafe, starts with Ewan's cultural references and a quick app competition plea. But it's not long before we dive into some final MWC related coverage. The second half of the show is all about games, prompted by a number of announcements from the Games Developer Conference in San Francisco, and we ask whether the arrival of middleware support heralds a new dawn for gaming on Windows Phone 8.

In episode 58 of the AAWP Insight, Podcast Ewan and Rafe start by discussing some recent high profile app additions to the Windows Phone Store (Pandora, United, BBC iPlayer) and the Instagram question. We then move on to games (Gameloft, 10tons, Unity engine, and more), highlighting the increasing strength of Windows Phone 8 in this department. In the latter part of this week's episode Steve and Rafe share their thoughts on the Nokia Lumia 920 camera.

In episode 46 of the AAWP Insight Podcast we start with games related topics including the arrival of Words with Friends, Nokia's exclusive EA Xbox Live titles, and news of Black Friday discounts. The main topic of the podcast is the Windows Phone 8X by HTC 8X with Rafe and Ewan sharing their thoughts and experiences on this "signature" Windows Phone flagship. The main focus is on the hardware, but we do also mention HTC's software customisations.
