 Episode #51 – Over a Year Old and Father’s Day Revisit | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 45:34

Pat and Nick open this episode with some thoughts about In Between Sundays. Then they revisit an old episode, #5, where they interview their dad. Notes from Episode #5: Fathers Day is Sunday, June 21 so we have compiled this special episode in honor of dads everywhere. In this episode, we talk about the "three J's" meaning Junk, Joy and Jesus and how we can use that model to evaluate what has been going on in our lives. Pat talks about how he feels like he's been way too busy and needs to find an organizational system in order to keep everything straight. We talk about some of the books that we have read that help people to learn about organization and planning, including Getting Things Done and Bit Literacy. We finally have a feedback line and for this show asked people to call in and give us their favorite memories of their own dad. We received a few submissions and play them throughout the show.(http://inbetweensundays.com/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wordpress/img/trans.gif) Finally, we issue a special Catholic Challenge for Father's day, asking people to spend time with their dad and to pray for him. We conclude the show with an interview with Nick and Pat's brother Brian and their father about their own family traditions and special things they did with their dad growing up.  Episode #45 – The Hope that is in You | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 35:18

What does it mean when 1 Peter 3:15 says “Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope”? What type of hope is the Bible talking about? In this episode, we answer that question and lay the foundation for an upcoming episode on apologetics. To start off the show, we go through our 3Js and listen to a very funny line sent into us from one of her children. Listen in to see how we can work in the line, “Mommy, pick me up!” In our Help, I’m Fallen segment, we have a question from John, who emailed us a while ago asking about the passage in 1 Peter 3:15 where it mentions that we should be prepared to give an account for our hope. He asks us what type of hope Peter is talking about and wonders how we can make our own lives interesting enough that someone asks us about our hope. To finish out the show, we have some interesting news from Google, who started a new feature called search stories. Additionally, there is some news coming out about seven new people who are set for beatification. Check the link in the show notes below to find out more.
